Fukken yeeeahh brah! This album ROCKS! love the hip hop vibe, bridging the gap between rock and hip hop is a massive gap, but Linkin Park did it, collision course blew my mind!

Not everyone will admit it but collision course and this album got alot of us into hip-hop. Linkin park was a gateway drug for metal, hip-hop and rock. They were pioneers of 2 things: making good music by using whatever means you can - regardless of genre - and giving kids like me somewhere they belong. Thank you Linkin park for being there for me when I needed you. Thank you Chester and Mike for putting my feelings into words.

💯 99% of what I listen to is rap, and that's all because of this, the collision course album and Linkin park - specifically Mike, him and Chester are Linkin park - not to take from any of the other guys, but Mike and Chester are irreplaceable and made Linkin park what it was. RIP Chester
Twenty years ago today, on July 30, 2002, this, the greatest remix album of all time, was released. I was in middle school when it dropped. I am now twenty years older, and my judgment has not changed. Happy 20th, Lincoln Park: you are artists.
I am not a fan of Linkin Park, I wasn't even really back then except for liking some songs for a bit. I only bought this album because I wanted to get the Limp Bizkit remix one but wasn't able to.
But o my lord I am glad I got this. I didn't even properly appreciate it back then but still thought it was really good. Now I listen to it every now and then and sometimes wonder if it is one of the best albums I have ever heard.

This is one of their most underrated albums. This much techno in metal was risky business in those years. LP did it. They were always moving towards future... too fast for many to catch up... resonating with us, the dreamers, the broken, the survivors, the burnt down, the castle of glass dwellers, the crawlers, the radiant folks who live from the inside.

When I was a kid and heard Hybrid Theory for the first time I was instantly hooked. Then, I heard they were coming out with a new album, but it wasn't really going to be a new album, just remixes, which was a concept I wasn't really familiar with at the time. Then I saw that the artwork was a giant mech, and being an anime fan I got sooooo hyped. I remember a friend of a friend worked for a record company at the time and knew I was a fan, so he ended up getting me an early copy and brought it to my house. I popped it in my walkman and was completely mindblown. For me this album will forever provoke feelings of mystique and awe, like peering into an alternate dimension. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art.
Dude, that's exactly the vibe I get from this album! I was born in 94 and got hybrid theory on a cassette in 1st grade. Was hooked even though I couldn't understand the lyrics. Been a LP fan until forever. Crazy thing.. I only found out about reanimateion few years back :)

My ADHD fucking loves this album, every little glitch and mix of songs i already loved anyway. And i cant help but sing along through gritted teeth on some of these man. the rest i sing along with my hands to the music.
27:29 is still one of the HARDEST drops I have ever heard to kick off a song. Holy s**t high school memories though.

The parallelism between the opening and closing song's elements is also outstanding. It makes looping the album so smooth and natural. Switchfoot's Hello Hurricane does the same with the same success.

Reanimation deserves the respect it gets by LP fans. Still holds up. 21 years ago on this day this banger of an album came out. I came across this album when I was getting into Linkin Park and it's something I never heard before.
And probably never will! Once in a lifetime talent!
I hated the concept of it and didn't give it the time of day when it dropped because i'm a very anti remix dude. Boy was I wrong with this one.. when Live in Texas dropped I went back and got it completely. A non radio friendly version.. genuis idea.

It’s really amazing how many people - Linkin Park fans for that matter - slept on this album. I feel it definitely doesn’t get the love it deserves compared to their other albums.
To me it almost feels like a bit of a story with the songs kinda woven together the way they are.
The beginning strings, and piano that ends up emerging throughout the rest of the album really add to the musical journey.
I find myself coming back to this album every few years. It was actually the first Linkin Park album I heard back in the CD days. A friend of my brother burnt him a copy and we would listen to it endlessly. It introduced me to them, and this album is just out of the ordinary. Gets me through hard times. Guess thats why I'm back here again...

Really a great album. Very underrated. I'm not usually a fan of these remix albums, but this was is awesome. In some cases, some songs are almost better than the original. Love the guest artists they got on the songs too.

I first heard the first song off Linkin Park, Castle of Glass from Living Things when I was eight, and I loved it, and I forgot about them until a couple months ago, and then I found Castle of Glass and Burn it Down again, and then when I remembered that Chester Bennington had passed, I had no idea who it was until I really started listening. I sometimes listen to these albums from my childhood just so I know I’m not completely numb.. I get chills and an overwhelming sense of well-being. The 90s-early 2000s was such a time to be alive.🥹 When this album came out I literally blasted this shit on repeat all day, everyday while playing Kingdom Hearts 1 on the ps2 probably pissing my parents off lol. It’s so engraved in my memory that I can basically relive each moment in my head when certain parts of certain songs play. Not sure if that makes sense 🤷🏾♂️ But yeah this is still such a banger of an album over 20 years later. 🙏🏽 p.s. Rip Chester ❤️

I remember the first few listens I thought I just wasted my money. Gave it a bit of time and started enjoying it. First time I listened to it as an adult with better music taste I was like holy fuck this is amazing. I think as a complete album to listen from start to finish it is one of my favourites ever.

Finally, this is the album I always saw in stores but was never able to buy it as a kid, always had hybrid theory but always felt the need to have this one. But now I can listen to it whenever.
