This video is sick! Next door to me is a pregnancy clinic, I wonder if I can get them to ultrasound me while I needle myself after hours xD I'd love to experiment a little with this. Have you noticed people with tight quads the muscles seem less free from each other like the fascia is gluing them, I wonder if you can get the needle on the border, tension it then pull and get some separation between the layers more accurately

I am due to get this. Also what is the downtime for this procedure ? Can you run /do normal activities or does it flare it up. How many sessions is needed ?Thanks

Each scenario is entirely different. If your simply getting some tight quads from training but the therapist hammers the quads with aggressive needling, you'll likely feel very sore for up to 3 days but then feel much better.
Could have quad tendinitis, have some light needling and feel fine to run the next day but maybe not as much improvement.
Generally first session I have with a client I'll take it lightly no matter what the problem is to gauge how they respond to it. If I get a seasoned athlete with more painful issue, I'll probably go harder even if it's their first session with me.
