Large omission: you can counter your movement direction in order to reduce the amount of inertia your avatar experiences. Also, I think you should have used free-look (which is useful but you didn't even mention) to look down at the pistol when you're using compressed ready; newbs will probably think something is wrong with their pistol or its animations.
It's similar to how it works in RO2, BFV, and PUBG. The only difference is it's more of a brisk power walk and your weapon stays ready. Shift run keeps your weapon up. To go into full sprint you actually hit control, which will make you stand up and go into a sprint animation similar to super sprint in Modern Warfare.

But crouch run is currently missing animations, and uses the animations for crouch walk, which is quite inaccurate. It's hopefully going to change with the v1032 update.

@@gracepierce1024 As someone who also appreciates old school Rainbow Six including Vegas, the game Ready or Not has easily filled that void. It's in early access but the fundamental/core mechanics, aesthetics and overall feel of that game hits the spot for me. It feels like the game I thought I would be playing in the future when i was younger, before the Overwatch/Fornite/Call of Duty craze started. The community in my experience is pretty chilled and the game has cooperative PVE focus.

I am also new to the game. I love it. But how the hell I can crank up AI difficulty on a Coop server? 🤔 I can’t find the option to make the enemies smarter and not just standing around ...

No, it's not. I can solo every map of 20+ enemies on the second hardest difficulty. That should not be possible on the hardest difficulty. If you're a dev, you should create a difficulty that you struggle to succeed while using, and then you should significantly increase the difficulty. There is always someone better than you are, and people get better over time. If you make a difficulty that seems impossible for you, it doesn't mean it's impossible for everyone. As long as players can achieve 100% completion of the game without winning on the difficulty, you should add one that's all but impossible.

Are AI effected by flashbangs? I know as of 1031 lighting makes no difference to AI, just wondering if flashbangs work.
Yes flashbangs work. The lighting part is only in regards to night ops - they can see in the dark for now

1. You’ve got to be the host of the server and 2. If you are the host, it’s on the Intel board on the right side when you select your infil
