9:01 a solid vid dude happy to see it! Really any old school Rainbow Six AND Swat series player can find enjoyment in these titles. Tactical Gaming Interactive are also working on a new title!
Both games are surprisingly great for early access tac shooters. I've personally played more ZH than GB, been playing since October 2020, as it reminds me of how I used to feel back when R6 Siege was my go-to MP shooter, prior to when the game started going downhill for me around 2018-2019 when it began to lose all evidence of it ever being a tactical shooter as it started to transition into the hero shooter that it is now. I hope to see much more done with both these games in the coming future. They deserve the attention. EDIT: Also, about the NVGs, I imagine realistic Nods would kinda break the flow of gameplay. If they wanted to be super realistic, they'd have to animate Nods in front of your face as well as the green NV effect through the lens, a picture-in-picture effect like scopes in GB.
GB is my favorite but i hate the bots, they see you so easily and snipe you in a second. Plus i don't get the night time in it, bots don't have NVG's and they spot as easily as it is day time, so yeah bots need some work done. Edit: sorry for bad english im an estonian.
I played ground branch since 2017 and I can't tell a goddamn difference since then. Saying it's in early access development feels like a downright stab to Zero Hour, that took a significantly smaller team with significantly less resources to make, with a lot less experience under their belt, as far as I can tell. Ground Branch seems to be stuck in time and just hasn't improved at all, to me. Not going to lie, if I could refund it, I would.
Thank you for having a brain, I get so sick of seeing people blindly praise Ground Branch when it's clear they only discovered it last week and have 3 hours on it. For anyone who has had the game for any length of time, the 'Early Access' badge begins to feel like an insult. What's it been? 10 years? Game still barely feels like a demo. Everything about Zero Hour is more impressive and infinitely better to play. Ground Branch is a bad joke.
I have both games and I like them both a lot. They both have their pros and cons, but both games will be better in time. The customization in GB is amazing, ZH doesn't nearly have as much, but I think the gun play in ZH is little better than GB, it just feels like the gun actually has recoil in ZH and in GB it does feel a little aim-botish.
Comparing both games, GB surely is more polished, but they have bigger budget and likely more experienced developers, however achieving what ZH has currently in such a short timeframe is amazing, i can only see its progressing quite substantially when it reached GB’s development timeframe even more so in the future than GB, fingers crossed
Thank you for the Video!, i watched it all so thank you for telling me i am an anomaly, made me week :D, i feel like Zero Hour is my way to go due to my SWAT experience preference, rather than ground branch Military type of Experience, Nevertheless i would be happy to play them both ! Hello, I was a big Rainbow six Vegas 1 and 2 player and I really miss the squad based tac shooters like that I picked up Zero Hour before I saw this video but I was looking into both games and I don't need 2 games that do the same thing I am not sure as of yet which will scratch that itch but I hope on of these games do that! I do wanted to say I liked this video and I gave you a like for that but I subscribed because you added a Bible verse at the end of your video I really appreciate that!
Thanks a lot my brother! I would say both games really do well with CQB but GB has more of a variety and options - Zero Hour just is about to have better animations. For 12 bucks you can’t go wrong but I recommend either! Both early access but they’re both just going to get better with time! Thanks for the support brother. To live is Christ!
Ground Branch as of now seems like it is on par with Ready or Not, it has a ways to go though. Ready or Not compared to Zero Hour is a night and day comparison, I think it is pretty apparent that RoN is the hotter of the two right now. I am hoping to see Zero Hour blossom, but it is way too early to say whether it will or not. As a person who likes a moderately difficult, realistic AI setting in these kinds of games. RoN feels naturally there in difficulty, and Ground Branch is a bit 'overkill'. People tend to play Ground Branch on Veteran and that is like playing against some kind of wallhack\aimbot computer. In the end, the game that has the best friendly AI teammates with the best command and control settings for them will stand out for me. There should be mission planning, several fireteams to lead instead of just one, and a few more options like taking point on room entry.
What zero hour needs is a big team that can dedicatedly work on the game. Currently Zero Hour needs a major sound, animation and graphical overhaul. The still feels a bit clunky and less polished compared to other FPS tactical shooters. Then comes weapon customization, balancing and a better AI in CO-OP.
Overall good review u didn’t explain zero hour 's pvp much its maybe look like r6 siege but its not . I think in case of pvp zh beats GB 1. Not sure on if anyone has hit you on this but on the breakdown of which game has the more realistic Nods, both are realistic in terms of Night vision capabilities. Ground branch has the old school second generation PVS-14 type of nvgs everyone knows while zero hour has third gen white phosphor filter like the PVS-31s and GPNVGs have.
I just got refund from steam on Ground Branch after 2.4 hours. Bitter sweet - I did like the game but a bit pricy for what you get in the 2.4 hours I played most was spent tricking out my weapon but the gameplay was a little to difficult for me. That's a holographic sight. You can do that with Eotechs in real life just like that, plus with a lot of red dots. They literally have an NV setting on the higher tier models.
zero hour is basically just the rainbow six siege we expected. Ground branch is more of over the tactical side leaving everything to the player and his team thats what i think. So yeah both games are good in their own way they dont collide or compare
Actually I have to disagree with one statement on here. It was said that GB has the more accurate NVG’s and I’m going to have to disagree, and it’s purely on how they react. When wearing NVG’s they stick pretty far off your face, and so aiming down sights is damn near impossible if not comical to try for most sights. ZH however, doesn’t allow you to aim down sights when wearing NVG’s unless with a pistol, which makes since as you don’t aim with a pistol directly under your eye.
Haha did not expect the random bible verse at the end. But you're right about people's short attention span, I think it's a huge flaw of humanity at the moment.

@@polarisation No, it's not, I'd rather have a nice lunch or a different game than spend 6 euros on some half finished mess that will never get out of early access.
Have to agree with everything but NVGs. Not sure how much time you have under nods but Zero Hours representation of modern nvg systems is so much better. Auto gate gen 3 WPT (White Phosphor) tubes with high fom are extremely close to how they are displayed in Zero Hour. Tube technology over the last few years has taken leaps and bounds over what Ground Branch is displaying. The NVGs Ground Branch feel like they are old pvs7s from the 90s. There is too much noise and they are way too dark to represent modern nods. It is cool that Ground Branch did add IR flood though.
Yeah not much at all...like none. Only seen vids and Those have been a while ago - I figured the noise was still present in modern optics, but glad to be corrected! Thx for the info my dude!
The Bangladeshis actually made a clever economic move. Since their game is a lower price, more people will buy it, thus meaning they actually receive more money than the higher priced game.
Both still at early access and not worth buying unless you want to support the devs. But i prefer to hold for a year or two to see if it actually moves forward

zero hour is basically just the rainbow six siege we expected. Ground branch is more of over the tactical side leaving everything to the player and his team thats what i think. So yeah both games are good in their own way they dont collide or compare
Till May 30th Zero Hour is on a sale for about $6 In America.
Love from bangladesh
And I love zero hour
Zero Hour is what R6 Siege was supposed to be but goddamn its an arcade game now
I much prefered Ground Branch to be honest. I loved the more openess. Big woods maps and the weapons I feel were much nicer
GB gameplay and overall feel of the game is just a lot better than ZH imo. Ground Branch definitely feels like more of a true tactical FPS.
Turns out ur wrong mate
By now its not even a question, Zero hour has a playerbase of roughly 800 people as for Ground branch has roughly 80.
which one is better if you want to do two-player co-op? also does either one offer controller support?
And I think Zero Hour's need more weapon, but that just me because the Dev will not add Sniper Rifle in the game since the game is more CQB type ...
Yeah got this comment a lot - just my ignorance of real-world stuff lol
Got zero hour for the price on the obvious choice as far as the wallet goes, but I need the military feel and atmosphere
Haha did not expect the random bible verse at the end. But you're right about people's short attention span, I think it's a huge flaw of humanity at the moment.
Every single one ;) I try to tie it in somehow to the video
Support his family 😂 nice touch. Pull on peoples heart strings. Have to try and harder than that.

Which game has better graphics ground branch or zero hour
I think I'm just gonna wait on ready or not
Scopes in ground branch look like the scopes in tarkov
Zero hour is $6 at the moment
Still not worth it.
@@HappyZavulon nope,its Worth it
@@polarisation I've played it, the game is a pure trash asset flip with a ton of bugs unfortunately.
@@HappyZavulon even if it was what you described, its still worth more than 6 dollars
@@polarisation No, it's not, I'd rather have a nice lunch or a different game than spend 6 euros on some half finished mess that will never get out of early access.
as someone who plays both i prefer GB,GB gives more of a military vibe and zero hour is more of a highly trained swat game
I think Zero Hour is secretly just SWAT 5
I'll wait for GB to go on sale.
haven’t tried ground branch but zero hour pvp is top tier
Both games are really good, but I think that when Ready or Not comes out these 2 games will kinda die out.
The Bangladeshis actually made a clever economic move. Since their game is a lower price, more people will buy it, thus meaning they actually receive more money than the higher priced game.
I haven’t really don’t any research but does anyone know if these games will ever be on consoles
Thx bought both
ground branch is just like the upgraded dlc of zero hour
Both still at early access and not worth buying unless you want to support the devs. But i prefer to hold for a year or two to see if it actually moves forward
i think, that the ai of ZH's better than GB and the variety of situations too, ZH it's more like cops situations and GB is such a military thing soo, i've decided to have both.
*if i typed anything wrong, im so sorry my english isn't very good bcuz i'm from Brazil, and no, we don't speak spanish, we speak portuguese. :)*

"it's not super close to a realistic portrayal"
That is exactly how night vision looks like today, the green version is the outdated one.
All the primary guns in Zero Hour have the same fire rate, sound and recoil its kinda funny
They dont?
Does ground branch even work
I think gb is the best one, but with Zero hour achieving so much in so little time, with consistent updates. I feel like it’s looking very promising.
If Zero Hour had as much development as Gb has had, I think it would be the better one. At least in my eyes
Which of these is better for single player?
Ground Branch is much more refined for single player at the moment
