An excellent and balanced review. Yes, 200 mAh less battery than the main competitors is a minor issue, but balanced out with QC 3.0 and (above all) replaceable batteries. And yes, the appearance and the fact that it's painted metal as opposed to anodized metal is not to everyone's taste (even though it was done in order to hide all antenna lines, which it succeeds at). But again, balanced out by the best overall camera solution on the market, replaceable batteries, expandable storage, IR blaster and of course performance that is fully on par with other flagships - generally faster than the Samsungs, for instance, which are bogged down by the software bloat. People saying this isn't a flagship are delusional, it's the most innovative flagship this year - which of course makes some of the design choices polarizing.
Time to ditch my old friend htc. Now look, htc, you brought this on yourself. This is what you were supposed to do, that and keeping the M8 outline design. I really like the features. I would even look away from the hideous design of it. It reminds me the design of tech of 15 years ago. But the features are really good to preorder this baby now.
I think For an average phone screen 5.2 inch is the sweet spot, the only thing I am disappointed with the lg G5 is its battery life. I know it gives removable battery but it should improve the battery if it's possible with software update.
+abhishek sureka The thing is it's not poor, exactly, now. The reason it has less battery life than a Samsung S7 is simply that it has 200 mAh less to accommodate the battery swapping feature, and because it uses an LCD rather than an AMOLED. I don't think it is wasteful of the power it has (which is what would be necessary to fix it with software), it just has a little bit less battery and a less efficient screen technology.
Hey just watched this video from my brand new lg g5 today. Could you tell me which android version is better in lg g5?i have seen in my notification theres an update for new software but im worried for some bug if i will update. Im presently using android marshmallow
The idea was great . too bad the public wasnt ready. hadnt the suceed it deserved. it is still a great phone that has everything. the bang & olufsen hi res audio module is incredible. best ever audiophile audio in a phone. The very last thing i care is looks or colour cos i always carry my phones into a nice armour case of my liking.
OMG LG has went backwards, looks great but in the real world are you really going to buy all these attachments just to lose them or forget them when going on holiday? cartridges are from the past.

Really good review. So good that I don't think I need to read the full written review. Good job GSMArena. (sincerely, a fan since 2008).
Amazing review, well edited and well organised, detailed, short and sweet. Thank you
