I got me hot pink and neon yellow grip for an 80's inspired design, my prime skating year's were in the 80's then I stopped in 92'. Going to give it another go at 47 yrs old 👍

I made a right pig's ear of my first attempt at gripping a board. You can see how I got less bad as I go round the deck lol

A good way to transfer designs I learnt from tattooists is to use a cheap deodorant stix on a photocopied image and it will then apply to most things although that's different to U cutting out the stencil ,if that makes sense ,also U can transfer any photocopied image to wood etc even in colour with acetone , just lay down image and paint the acetone on sparingly. But the way U did your stencil id have done it the same way too , Your board looks good ,Mark Gonzalez grip art was always so rad as well as Ben Raybourne .
I use titanium blades with boxcutter!
Nothing beats a photo projector for drawing on grip. There are some fairly cheap ones that connect to phones.
Definitely looking into getting one.

Spray brake cleaner into the bearings and dry, add Speed Creme...easy!

Good video. To transfer your design, make a stencil or use contact paper, cut the design, stick it down and paint pen or lightly mist with spray paint, then go back and paint with pens.
