- I'm really enjoying both engravings, but it's not smart to buy builds and gems for both. So while I was trying to think about choosing between them, I decided to just make a video to sort my thoughts and explain why I enjoy them both. So this is just like an overall feel and difference and not like a complete guide content. If you want a guide, check out the community guides.

Also I guess Asura isn't the only class that doesn't want crit syn. This Civo dweeb hit me with the "well actually" that meta Death Strike doesn't want it either.
Well, it really is a tough choice. I was thinking as my last 6th char to use wardancer but maybe going for double breaker isn't that bad of an idea. But then again playing different classes is fun and the one you have you can build both sets. It is just time and gold investment in the end.
I started sura and then tried BK both feel good but BK more comfy and as a swiftness enjoyer i wanted to thave a big number class on my roster so it will be BK for me. GL with your choice.
6:40 That 86% is WITH Entropy Crit Rate included, cuz that's a flat, non-conditional amount. You only overcap a little, not much. Adr3 either puts you at 101% with high qual accs and Critical, or you run Master with Adr1 for 98% total Crit Rate.
Great insights. Initially, I thought of Sura but when I found out that all attacks are frontal, i grimaced. I'm quite new to the game so facing boss head-to-head without proper mastery is no-no. On the otherhand, BK dmg skills aren't positional and the icing to the cake is that the Z skill is badass!
Both engravings are excellent but it depends more on your playstyle rather than just meta focused or dps ceiling

@@Jukwol it really is, luckily Asura is pretty cheap to build ( besides the books) compared to BK. But BKS numbers are so cleannnnn

I have never been more 50/50 on what I want to build towards. 2 weeks of playing each build to see how it is and getting a feel for how they play in raids, even investing the silver to roll lv9 gems to respective skills.
Asura feels very rewarding for knowing how to play the class and how a boss plays when you get that full Asura form into the head. Brawl King, surprisingly, feels pretty light on his feet when in his stance.
Biggest downsides i see to both stances are Asura can feel hella punishing if you have been a hit master or ambush master player your whole time playing. While it has a on call sheild, it can be easy to forget when youre keeping track of your skill rotation and are looking to save it as an adrenaline reset during your Asura. For Brawl King, if you dont crit that EotS or your Blossom, it's like not critting on a DB and it feels pretty bad. Whiffing skills also makes you feel sluggish, but that's a similar feeling on other build/spend classes
Prefer BK purely because Asuras ADHD gameplay spamming skills between mechs is annoying AF, i mean you dont have to do it but you lose DPS by not doing it, its like forced ability spam none stop. And now with the new "pause auto attacks mid burst for more dps" just seems like an unnecessary oversight by smilegate, more shackles to improve DPS.
Fortunately BK has none of those issues, just a shame it doesnt get the X skill shield as that is dope, but pros and cons!
Yeah, the shield and how often you can have it up feels like cheating.
just do both, that's what am doing currently, treat it as if u are working on 2 characters, i made 2 presets and 2 builds and i alternate between them based on what i feel like playing, still leveling him up cause am f2p but yeah that's the plan.
Yeah I plan to do that eventually once I have the gold to throw into a second build.

I made a deathblade with my express but made breaker on a different region to try it out. I hate how disgustingly broken and braindead is to play. My surge's gotta work her ass off to get the same damage breaker gets effortlessly for a very forgiving rotation. These new classes are honestly ridiculous.
i would say kingfist breaker is the only one thats braindead. Asura actually requires alot more skill. its a entropy class that requires alot of knowledge of knowing when its safe to burst. Sura also has very high ceiling due to the greeding capabilities of self defence fighting which basically lets him tank a attack and greed while most other classes cannot. Surge even though deals more damage in trixion I would say surge is harder than both breaker engravings. Surge the class itself is a fast apm need to position properly and have good hands to deal damage class. if you dont like that challenge then pred slayer and LC sharpshooter exists.
If BK had more crit naturally , i totally pick it , i hate begging raid leaders for crit syn :(
you have 23% (650 crit stat) + 28% (hallu) + 15% (identity/limit break tripod) + 5-15% (adrenaline 1 or 3) (+ 7% from master elixir) = so at least 71% up to 88% (Id go for adren 3 and master) so I think thats very high crit for a spec class

Yeah that's my bad for not making a note on my stats and such and not mentioning that such can vary because spec unlike asura.
BKS is easier to play and more beginner friendly. I have seen more BKS players do well in raids, upright/cruel fighters. Asura players are about as good as Igniter Sorceress or Surge DB players. Vast majority do z dps, while only a select few players become so good that no effort you put in most of the other classes can equal or overcome it.
As such, if you consider yourself a really good LoA player, Asura is an option. But if you are not, pick BKS.
apart from a kind of mini wardancer awakening and front attacking (which is a bit annoying) sura has not so much to give. id say BKF everday, fast and strong.
