"Praise thy nut" My goodness, that poor kid had no idea what they just walked into. Also, is it just me, or do all children sound so gender-neutral that it is literally impossible to discern their gender? I think I can sometimes tell that they have distinct differences in HOW they talk and HOW they make the words that come out of their mouths, but aside from that, I genuinely do not believe that it is possible to discern gender from a child's voice unless you had practice, memory, and experience with kids and remember how you talked like when you were a kid, which for some reason I can't? Why can't I remember my childhood?
