- We headed out to really put our hand built drift boat to the test. We called up our guide buddy Colby Crossland on the Green River in UT and asked if he would be willing to grade our boat. When he said yes we drove to Dutch John to try it out.
Overall we had a blast with this series. We hope you enjoyed it and let us know what you'd like to see next!

I like how last episode was sanding the hull with nothing done to inside yet, and now the boat is completely finished in this episode. The magic of video I guess.
Years back I helped a buddy build a wooden dory .. Nice boat .. but it weighed a ton and every year he had to refinish several areas .
Been liking these boat rebuild videos a lot. Wish they went a little longer. Are you guys ever planning another short bus trips video with Scotty or is there some falling out that I’m not aware of. Those original short bus build out videos and camping trips really got me hooked.
My buddy and I 20 years ago ...did tge same maybe less..many great memories with that old wood boat ...criky,squeeky...still got the job done...spent the last 15 years chasin fishin as good as the green still haven't found it ....still searchin
Well hot dog.. Fishable water in Utah. Well played boys, well played.
They're right, i want that boat.
Haha!
Awesome to get back-to-back-to-back episodes to scratch that itch I’ve got for some BlueLine content. Well done!
Honestly don't know how you guys don't have more subscribers.
love the series - I see gates of ledore as a real trial of the boat
Awesome job on the drift boat and I’m hoping in several weekend weeks I should be on the green. Can’t wait. So you know I’m looking at the flies you’re using. Hint hint.
They work! Haha, thanks for the support.
Damnit, deff need to get a boat after seeing the whole transformation. Great job on the video! Bring this bad boy down to NWA for some smallies 😮💨
That's the plan!
Boat turned out great!! Quite the transformation!
Good job hooking Pete to sand that thing.
Cool video! Even cooler drift boat!
Good day on the Boat.
Killer job dudes. This was fun to watch
Loved the series! Awsome job on the boat restore.
Thanks a bunch!
Sick build. Need to take it for a test drive for some R&D of my own!!
Great job on the boat. Loved this series.
Thanks!
How long is the float there? I thought it was a multiday with the campsites along the river. Love the new boat. Has character!
A Section is 7 miles and takes about 2-3.5 hrs depending on flows. If you take your time and work the eddies, riffles and runs a 7-8 hr. day is typical. Most anglers and guides do one section per day. A, B, or C.
You need to do an old Lavro next. I know where you can find one on the cheap.
What did the seal rowboat captain say????
"Oar.... Oar ..oar!!!"
Float the Shoshone!
“You did all this yourself”
“Yea”
Cool. Cool. Cool. 😔
First
no, just no. I'll say it, I hate it. Sell it and buy a real Drift Boat
Wow, who hurt you in a wooden drift boat?
There is no better Guide on the Green River than Colby. Been fishing with him for 10 years. Book way in advance, he’s in high demand for a reason!!!
