I tried the NR, but with weak (dx) signals there is nothing to hear. I was on 10 meter and signals were weak. Did I miss something? Is there a threshold slider? Installing in Linux (fedora) wash straight forward. Only no RX icon, only the word SDRconnect. For the rest it works good on my Linux machine. Used RX is the RSPdx.
SDR Connect is slowing getting better, more and more features all the time. But it's a shame my SDRPlay device is broken and SDRPlay won't let me fix it. All the component numbers ground off the top. Oh well, guess they don't want future business from me, plenty of other SDR devices out there..
@@SDRplayRSP Yes, I bought it from Ham Radio Outlet several years ago, pretty sure it's from SDR Play. The problem is the small chip that switches the 3 antennas (SDRdx) no longer works. All three antennas connections are shorted together, I can't switch between antennas. I hate having to pay a large repair bill when I'm an electronics technician with good soldering skills and there's a good chance I could fix the problem with a $2 part. I am a ham afterall and love working on my own electronics. Thanks.
Unfortunately on Debian Bookworm with remote server on Raspberry the new version is absolutely unstable, crashes when changing bandwidth, can't change filters - error messages. Previous version absolutely stable and no problem. I'm going back to the older version - so hopefully the next one will be better.
So I take it back, after the second complete reinstallation everything OK. I don't know where the problem was. Maybe I didn't reboot the Raspberry server? Anyway, everything is working now, thanks.
I am a huge fan of the SDR Uno software. It had (has) so many great features, deign and functionality I was using it as a panadapter with my HF rig. I am trying to migrate my ham radio PC to MacOS and have even bought and plan to use the RF by tapping into my Yaesu, but as long as there is no rig control with SDRConnect, my RSPdx is useless to me. Please expedite the software upgrades. This development cycle is taking what seems like FOREVER. THANKS.
Looking and working great on an M3 Mac Mini with an old RSP1A. Well done. Its getting to the stage now where its becoming my default listening software, saves firing up the old Windows machine. RDS logging would be great if that's possible at some point. Cheers.
I am adding to my previous comment. The corrected version (preview 105b8f722) is stable and fully functional, unlike the previous version (preview 5 - 8d71cadca). Thanks to the authors for the quick fix. OS Debian 12 as client and Raspberry PI as server.
Maybe not the right place to ask but will try. When starting the installation on Windows you first get to the driver install but I have already installed the API and find it annoying that I have to disconnect and reconnect the RSP. Is there a way to skip this step?
I install it on my windows 10 pro, and now when I start the connection (Green arrow button) it simply crash without any message. I unsintall and reinstall it few time but no difference. SDRUno still work fine.
I'm lucky, I still have the installation files of the "preview 4" version on my PC, and it work fine. I try to reinstall the "preview 5" and it crash each time I try connect my RSP1A. So I came back with the version 4 for the moment.
I try the preview 5 on my macbook pro (sonoma) and it work, but only on AM. In other mode it crash with a yellow message on the filter part : "system.formatexception: the input string '1.8' was not in a correct format." I'm french, it's possible that the regional setting (using a . or a , as separator) cause the problem. I have not this problem with the preview 4 on my Mac.
That noise reduction does better than Uno. I'm impressed. Profiles look interesting too.
Thanks for the video. When will there be an implementation for DAB+ radio and a better waterfall?
Many thanks the new improved version. I am waiting Rig control.

Are you sure it was a genuine SDRplay device? SDRplay does not grind the symbolisation off any of the components on our circuit boards.

Does the new SDRConnect interface with OmniRig yet?
Coming along getting better would love to see NFM Deemph in the future.
When will scanning be implemented?

Well, no, it still crashes when it changes bands.

But what we are still desperate for is Rig control?
what is going to happen with sdruno software? is there still a roadplan?
Contour Shuttle support please

yes, if you're absolutely sure you have the latest drivers installed
@@SDRplayRSP thanks. So can I just chose next and do I get the option of skipping driver installation?
@ you don’t skip anything, just proceed with the install without unplugging
@@SDRplayRSP thanks, will have a try tomorrow
I hope this now runs on my TFT and completely fills the screen without an annoying gap at the top right.

I have the same problem. I went back to version 4. I am also using windows 10 pro. Must be a problem there.
Keypad frequency select does not work, uninstalled it.
@@hyperionsixzeroeight5064 works just fine.
now you guys need to make plugins to pick up p25, Yaesu fusion, DMR digital voice modes which is probably used in the United States,
Great info, but new wersion FC on my M1 Macbook Air :(
The video was made on an M1 Mac, so no issues here!
Crashes on windows 10 x64 pro. Reinstalled version 4 and it works fine.
Wow
