thanx bought this router 4 days ago so far all good, also should i remove the plastic flim on antennas? or is that ok? also should i turn on the QoS feature? Also im useing the smart mode wich connects both 2.4ghz n 5ghz when needed so is the Mimo enabled in that mod?

Totally there are 5 LAD lights but in my router only 4 green lights blink.
Is is ok or all the 5 LAD lights should be blinked.Some time my laptop does not get proper net.

Hello, I purchased Archer C6 AC1200 V4 router on 12 August and started using my experience till today, router taking much time to starts working as its web/internet led takes much time from orange to green. And as in between it goes green to orange too so unable to use internet as this is happening since I am using this product. In terms of Range it's top quality but I doubt something issue in router. What you think what might be the issue? Thank you.

you have to disable smart Connect Option in router setting,,,,,by default it show only 5ghz band only Go to the Wireless Options < Advanced settings < and disable the smart connect < now you have two different bandwidth

Thanks! C6 and A6 is really a big confusion point for everyone. Official website does not specify any difference in configuration. Amazon reviews are all mixed and for old version. On top of that Amazon product page does not specify the version which they are selling.
Amazon product page does specify that C6 has an extra in-built anteena which A6 does not. Most probably that is the reason why C6 speeds are more consistent?
A6 is newer model and c6 is old... C6 is recommended

Yes, it automatically detect the router with step by step guide.......or if you use browser than it automatically open the admin panel. The IP is mention on the back side of the router.

you need Gigabit router. which supports 1Gbps.
Ac1200 is Gigabit router. which supports 867mbps.

No..I checked for both bands...........and kitna area cover karega...ye kahan muskil he...kyu ki ye depend karta he..apke ghar ke structure pe......but approx....agar apne ise apne ghar me center me rakha to......1500 sqft area aram se cover kar lega.....2.4 Ghz ke sath........5Ghz ki range bahot kum hoti he......generally ek hi wall cross kar pata he.......and usme bhi 60% se jyada speed drop ho jati he....and ye bat kisi bhi router ke liye same rahti he...

My previous tp-link router(in-warranty) had a weird issue .. it used to disable wireless radio automatically and whenever I called them ... they just gave me unhelpful tweaks and guaranteed that this has fixed it but it never helped . again after calling they gave me another unhelpful tweak and guaranteed this will fix it .... even once their so called engineer told me not to prank call in morning and hung up after laughing ... this cycle continued till the point I had to get another router (service center is too far away and this was during lowdown) ... So yeah this was my experience .. and I dont see myself buying or recommending their product in near future ..
