Rosa is the stuff of legends. Surviving a lightning strike is no small feat; but recovering from those burns is the real battle. Burns are one of the most painful things a person can experience. Her scars are a testament to her strength and grit. The fact that she is laughing and smiling and full of life despite everything she’s been through shows it didn’t break her spirit. This woman is a force to be reckoned with.

As a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, I am impressed by This Woman's two tours in Iraq and then surviving a lightning strike and all the surgeries that it took to fix her scarring as much as possible. God bless her and may she have a blessed life

Botched by nature? I’d say that nature did more than botch her life. Drove an electrical current thru her body. From the boob to the boot trajectory. What goes in, must come out. Ouch, thanks Mother Nature.
I was an ER,Trauma,ICU,CCU Nurse , I knew many Plastic Surgeons and you could always tell the ones who were only in this field for profit and noteriety....my favorites were the Trauma Surgeons trained in Plastic Surgery who could take a person who was literally torn apart,and piece them back together... and I know these two wonderful Physicians are thinking to themselves " This is the reason I went into Plastic Surgery, to help people like this!" Rosa is such a pretty young woman, who felt the scars from her accident and her botched tummy tuck... in her soul, now she will feel whole again, as a woman and have the confidence to be able to get out and live life!! Blessings to Rosa and her new life and blessings to her Physicians,Dr.Dubrow,and Dr.Nassif for helping her see herself as beautiful again!! ❤

I worked as an ED, PACU, and ICU nurse, and I agree with you 100%!!! The plastics guys who were in it to help people cared more and were much better surgeons overall, and had better results. My favorite surgeons! ♥️♥️♥️

One of the greatest botched cases I've seen! These doctors are remarkable and I love that they're helping her.
Also: "Terry, I have the perfect boot for you, made out of jackass!" That was hysterical!!! And when he pulled him off the couch!
She's absolutely gorgeous but her personality is just as great. It's unfortunate that such a naturally happy and upbeat person had to go seven years fighting her inner -- and outer -- demons but it's incredible what Terry was able to do for her, ultimately bringing her back to the person she truly is. My favorite episodes are of the people whose lives are changed the most dramatically in such positive ways.
Rosa is so brave to let us see her body in both before and after. She is looking great. Thank you to the doctors.

Thanks, Dr. Nassif, for not wearing crocodile, hippo or kangaroo boots!!!! Also, everyone needs a friend like Rosa's friend---amazing. I think the lightning imbued Rosa with super powers!!
But cow leather is ok... right...
Kangaroo is the best leather for any type of leather goods. Kangaroos aren't endangered, they're actually a massive pest.
@@tylociraptor8131At least with cow, it was something that was otherwise going to go to waste since a lot of cows are butchered for meat so it helps that we’re utilizing the whole cow. I recognize that there are more ethical issues related to this but, this is why it’s seen as a more ethical choice than hippos, kangaroos, etc.
I had a feeling that they wouldn’t be able to fix her décolleté area. The skin is so fragile. With no other bodily skin to graft onto it. And it is fairly big. But I knew that she’d be happy with a breast lift and a revised tummy tuck. She harbored no delusions about not being able to reduce the burn scar. She looked amazing at the end. Her happiness was shiny and wonderful. Yay for Rosa! ❤
Just started watching and my heart goes out to her! That Dr botched her tummy bad! Hacked her bad! She is so sweet and just beautiful! I can't wait to see what they do for her!
Her scars are beautiful! Their battle wounds. She battled lightning, and survived with beautiful fighting scars! I hope she finds her happiness, and to be able to see her own beauty. She's a beautiful woman! I only wish she knew and could see that. Have a great week all. G.B.

Wow, after a long day at work I am home and cooking so I put this on to occupy my time. This was a great episode. I started crying especially when she described herself as deformed and why she feels that way. I felt the truth in her. She really felt deformed and I can only imagine how this affected her life pre and post surgery this time around. Also, I find it very interesting the electrical box went dead on her. Coincidence or what?!
Now that is one hell of a good friend! I wish for everyone at least one person like that in their lives.
Dermablend is a great waterproof foundation made for covering scars and discoloration on the body. I hope the doctors offered her something similar for her chest area. Beautiful work, beautiful woman.
Do you know of any body makeup that doesn’t rub off onto clothes or chairs, etc?
@@klickingkayasmr7585 Dermablend. It's especially good if you apply transparent face powder over it and pat it.
She looks totally fine. If I met her in person, I would never notice. It does seem to be impacting her confidence, so it is good she is getting something done for herself.
Beautiful woman. I personally, believe scars just tell the story of our lives and are nothing to be ashamed of or feel bad about.

Rose is the Bomb !! Doing 2 yrs in Afghanistan & struck by lightning 😮 she did deserve it. Best surgery too. She looks amazing ❤❤ now I've seen some beautiful tattoos that cover the scars. So I think some beautiful flowers in her chest would look great ❤❤❤

I know that when the doctors are joking around it's totally scripted, but they still make me laugh.
I wish you guys would come to Australia it would be the only way I would fix up my damage from a motor vehicle accident. I am so very happy for Rosa. I worked in medicine and witnessed a patient after being struck by lightening it was horrific and unfortunately after 4 days he lost his battle because his organs just shut down. Firstly she is so very fortunate to survive and now she can feel comfortable in her own skin and live a happy life xxx

Her breast ultimately looked just about the same but her tummy tuck was very successful ❤
I think they addressed her complaint which is the sagging cleavage area and underwire burn mark that were minor but it bothered her a lot. She never wanted implants so there shouldn't be any change seen at first glance.

Agreed. That is prettiest skin graft I’ve ever seen. But scars are scars, so I can understand why she was hoping that maybe they could do something for them.

I wonder who Rosa's surgeon was because my tummy tuck looked exactly like hers. Down to the scar around the belly button. Yes, I had my surgery in San Antonio. I have since had mine fixed, thankfully, but I am just curious.

❤ This brings back the memory of when my husband who was a fire chief, was caught in a flash over fire ball. His face,neck and hands had 3rd degree burns 🔥 😳 A product called NUSKIN was used pretty successfully versus skin grafting. There was darkening and thickening (scar tissue...keloid fiber). Because he was kept in a coma for a couple of weeks, he had no conscious memory of the event. But, he did have PTSD reactions. If we were popping corn in the microwave, the sound and smell had him trying to 'put out the flames on his face and hair'. Seeing pictures of himself taken in the burn unit took him to a deep,dark,quiet place. He passed away two years ago....now missing him so much...my go to place is remembering stroking his face and hands and missing the feel. That texture was and is a reminder of the survivor,the warrior he was. A reminder the doctors and nurses were the angels that brought him thru....even for a little while. 💖 💕
I think about the phycology...as a female, my scars make me feel 'less than'. Yet, with my husband, it was treated like a badge of honor. Stay blessed y'all 🙌
