Thanks for sharing your video! Your garden is beautiful. I’m a gardener too and I’m researching all the things I can grow in containers. I’m happy it led me to find you. I’m so happy it did your channel has so much to offer! This is very helpful. Thanks for teaching me something new. I hope we can learn more from each other as we grow our gardens and our channels! 💐🌸🌺🌻
So nice of you to say. Thanks, best of luck...!

Thanks you! 🌱😊
Thank you for sharing this video as if you read my mind I have just prepared a space for planting them but was still debating whether to buy the seeds or cucumber itself and use it's seeds can you advise me on that❤️🇿🇦
I would advise you bye young cucumber plants with a established root system unless you are a real geek then try for the seeds, cucumber plants have shallow roots and don't like to be disturbed, which means you should try to eliminate unnecessary transplanting, also tried to keep the soil as cool as possible even by shading, I struggle myself with hot climates as I am situated in the Mediterranean sea. Good Luck!
I love & appreciate your videos. What do you use to make homemade fertilizer?
I grow organic so if I need to use fertilizer such as when repotting 10% animal manure 40% organic homemade compost 50% good brand potting soil.
just homemade compost can be considered as a light fertilizer.
@@YouPlantTube what is homemade compost made of?
This video should help you understand what I mean by homemade compost: ua-cam.com/video/kwXCiNzUv9s/v-deo.html
hello. thanks for this. did you have to do manual pollination? also, did you have to trim/remove some of the leaves so the plant can focus more of its energy to fruiting?
I would try to avoid removing any leaves unless they have a fungal disease, which in that case you may be fighting a losing battle. Manual pollination may improve your chances of a bigger yield.
Do you think maybe 4 plants might be overkill? How many cucumbers did you get in the end, i mean i love cucumber but eating that much might be a struggle. Do you think maybe starting two plants say 40 days later than the first two might help spead them out?
Depending on the available space you may have at the time you may wish to start with just 1 seed or if you are in a rush go ahead and buy ready cucumber seedlings so you may have cucumbers at "40 DAY".
But for the purpose of this video 4 cucumber plants is all I needed.
I live in Thailand and in the hottest months it is unpleasant to even walk outside Will I need to put sun shade material over the cucumbers at this time
Probably if they are exposed to all-day sunlight, best to try to avoid midday sunlight.
Optimal outdoor growing temperatures are between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit (18-23 C.).
