The more we put ourselves down, even inside our head, we begin to believe it and our bodies and minds change for the worse. But, when we begin to build ourselves up and proclaim the promises of God over our lives, wonderful things can happen. This is exactly what this song is about. We all hear whispers in our head telling us we’re not good enough or that if we try, we will inevitably fail. We feel the lies in our hearts telling us that we will never measure up to the standard every one else seems to be meeting. When we listen to those voices, we go astray by looking for the value of our worth in what we can accomplish.
Whatever validation we do find in those things will fade quickly and we are left asking the same questions Lauren asks in “You Say.” The need for our lives to have meaning based on what we accomplish is not how God designed us. We first have meaning because we were created by God. Our identity is found in who Christ says we are, not how the world tries to define us.

We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”
We need to remind ourselves daily of what God’s Word says and believe what He says of us is true. We share in Christ’s divine nature just by having accepted Christ as our Savior and having the Holy Spirit dwell within us. We bring our hurts, our sins, our weaknesses, as well as all our victories, accomplishments, and triumphs and lay them at the feet of Jesus.
Every day when you wake up, take the first 5 minutes to thank God that He has given you another day. Proclaim “this is the day the LORD has made. I will rejoice and be glad!” as a reminder throughout the day that you can choose joy. When people use hurtful words toward you, you can choose to react with kindness and remember that God says you are loved and created for a purpose. You need to look up to heaven or bow your head in prayer, and tell God “When (I feel) I don’t belong, you say I am yours. And I believe.” **GOD BLESS YOU, "LIZA SOBERANO". JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL. A very high percentage of people in the world are afraid of going out of their comfort zone. That's why so many people have regrets in their lives. Kudos to Liza for going out of her comfort zone and fighting for her dreams. Good luck!

Liza's whole situation is a prime example of how difficult it is to transition from one phase of your life to another as a young adult. There's often a notion attached that once an individual pursues for change, it means that they become angsty or rebellious. I think Liza is a very brave woman and is living her truth. I feel sad seeing how some people make fun of her or think of her as "patapon" when she's just living the life she wants and there's absolutely nothing wrong in doing so. I wish the best for Liza and I await for the day that people accept her choices without prejudice.
Why does it sound like what she is saying is what her new management team likes to say. I see her face, I hear her voice but it feels like the thoughts of James Reid. Totally scripted I 'm afraid.
@@jollycruz8422 We can agree to disagree naman po because what I see in this interview is Liza being truthful and genuine with her feelings and experiences. Liza is an intelligent woman capable of thinking for herself so I doubt her responses were scripted. It might be that James' and Liza's thoughts as of now are aligned and they share similar goals in terms of self-discovery and growth so it seems like something that James would answer if he were asked the same questions. Just my two cents on this.

I get it naman na para ka naman talagang nakakahon sa showbiz sa Pilipinas pero kase sa totoo lang lahat naman ng trabaho kung nag-uumpisa ka pa lang at nasa baba ka kelangan mo talaga magsakripisyo at magcompromiso. Maganda pa naman partnership niyo ni Ogie. Napasikat ka nga at nailako. Siya ang tulay mo sa ABS CBN. Suntok sa buwan ang pagpasok mo sa Hollywood. Maski sa GMA. Nadala na sila kay Bea. Di na sila babayad ng mahal para sa mga talents from ABS. Sayang ka! Hohopia ka na lang ngayon 😕😕😕

It’s not a failure, doing things you really love. It’s a freedom and being human. The fact that she had the courage to do things her own is a big win for her already. Success isn’t always about the status, it’s more of a satisfaction within. I’m proud of you Hope.
Not all people understand Liza's vlog because not all people have the highest form of knowledge called EMPATHY. Liza is too deep kaya ang taong may mababaw na pang unawa ay hindi talaga sya mauunawaan. Only people with smart, intelligent, optimistic, positive mind with a golden heart will be able to understand what she is trying to imply. Liza’s experience is a wake up call to everyone that there is really a need for change in the showbiz industry in the philippines. I respect liza’s bravery on this! She actually reminds me of catriona, thats why she decided to be independent perhaps because of situations like these.

She's never ungrateful people just get highlights of one interview, quotes and twist her words, if only they learn to watch and listen to her fully they will understand and see how good and respectful she is. Englisera kasi. Real talk lang madami pa din sa atin kapag nag-English ang tao mayabang na. Also madami din low comprehension sa English kahit sabibin na Filipinos are great at speaking the language 😅. There's also the toxic Pinoy trait of utang na loob na parang dapat nakagapos ka na dun sa tao forever until your death. Dapat loyal ka, yung tipong mortal sin if you start looking out for yourself. Dapat selfless ka, yung lagi mong iintindihin yung pov nung iba otherwise you'll be called ungrateful.

Agreed. Ultimately, it’s about control which didn’t sound like she was allowed any of it as all projects, endorsements, etc., were predetermined by her management team. Fine to a certain point, but with no input from Liza it’s no wonder she didn’t think she could grow further and be able to change the trajectory of her career. With respect, we each have a right to make choices and decisions for ourselves. I like that she didn’t speak ill of anyone. She only corrected the disinformation regarding commissions. Truly, Ogie should’ve reached out to her in private. Tama si Liza kung anak talaga turing sa kanya, dapat meron respeto at kunsiderasyon na ayusin directly in private any misunderstandings at hindi na pag-usapan pa sa social media.

Ogie intentionally use a passive-aggressive approach in dealing with this issue to appear as the bigger person. Ogie did lie on the vlog nung sinabi nyang 20% na lang ang nakokolekta nya. The way he tells the story is parang sya yung hero na nagkusang nagbaba ng commission nya kahit it was Liza’s tita who initiated the negotiation. Furthermore, yung vlog ni Ogie na nagsorry sya is just their damage control at inunahan nya na yung release ng part 2 ng FTWBA para magmukang malinis sya sa kwentong to. Its sad na di nakukuha ng ibang tao yung point ni Liza. And please stop shading her and pretend you're not. Like this episode alone, sabi ni Mama Loi, "at least narinig na natin pinangalanan na nya yung dapat pangalanan"....meron pangsisingit si Ogie na "alam mo naman mabait yan si Tito Boy, sinusubo na nga lang yung mga dapat sabihin ni Liza. " Shading yon pero kunwari, Anak ko yan. Ako wlang tampo. Then dun sa mga haters ni Liza, ang bait bait naman ni Ogie. He said Liza is kind and well spoken and if she wants to comeback there are projects waiting for her.

I actually understand her. In that industry, maraming talent na kagaya ni liza kaya maraming issue against their managers. Mahirap din naman kasi trabaho nila kahit tayong mga audience ang tingin natin glamour lang. Ang mas mahirap yung ikaw ang nagpuyat pero halos wala nang matira sa sweldo mu.
This should be a wake-up call for all the artist in PH industry. Communication is the key talaga.
I agree because after she left no one knew what happened and the details it was just suddenly announced that she had a new management then everyone was buzzing around maybe it could have been less "damage/issue" if they had both made a sit down talk on each others channel so that people would had been less speculative which is I guess one of the reasons why it seems that they are throwing shades at each other while in fact they could just had settled things clearly for everyone 🙂.. anyways just my two cents 😁

I truly don’t understand why people are hating on her. I think people always take things out of context because they like to focus on the negative side of things.
