Dont know the target audience but I enjoyed the cummins swap mod. Wouldnt mind knowing other mods done states away along with the action! Our ol silver seeder had hillside guts, soybean special, custom wide rims for rice tires and a stack of weight in the back to keep an orange 6 row corn head up. Anyhow, great coverage & specs!
@@bigtractorpower a guy came and filmed me last week with a drone and took pictures I think he said you might post it? Roven farms I think his name was I’m here in central wisconsin.
That operator is putting aa lot of stuff thru the combine. At that speed and an older machine you can only take a guess as to what is coming out the back and on to the ground
Hey, I live in central North Dakota and we just started wheat harvest and we run two s97 gleaner combines and a 1050 grain cart pulled by a case magnum you should come video
Jason, when are you going to do that thousand bushel combine people need to be introduced to it I don’t think enough people know about it I don’t even remember the name unfortunately
I see this comment on every combine I film in Kentucky. Every farm runs this speed in the region. This wheat is 100 bu . And the farmers tell me at long as they are not dragging the wheat and it’s matching combine speed they are in good shape.
@@bigtractorpower it takes a different approach usually wherever you’re at on a given day. I’ve never been at the helm of an R60 in Kentucky wheat so I’m no expert. Thanks for capturing the use of Ag machines across the nations for us!
@Farmboy-lv7fw the old stuff is way better where i come from. most folks don't have thousands of acres of anything, let alone need to harvest thousands of acres and spend millions doing it. thanks for the answer.
@@get__some I most def agree the old stuff with no sensors and emissions BS. Them macdons are heavy. That machine wouldn’t have the lift capacity or the weight to raise it. But would be cool as hell to see
@Farmboy-lv7fw agreed. the new combines should be running equivalent speed as the old gleaners. they should be cutting wheat at 10mph by now. to each their own, i reckon
I'm not trying to cause trouble with the Gleaner fans watching this bc I know they make a good machine, but for the life of me I can't figure out how guys find these silver trapezoids appealing-looking? Gotta be the ugliest-built combine in the industry.
Looks don't harvest grain. There's a lot of room to access the concave and engine. Back door folds down and has steps to make getting in easy. Run one, you'll change your mind.
No, modern plastic blobs from JD, Claas, etc are butt ugly. Nothing is better looking than a galvanized Gleaner with sheet metal, the way machines were supposed to be made.
That period was the beginning of the end of good looking Gleaners. A bit too modern in design, yet still using classic and superior galvanized sheet metal.
It’s always nice to see a gleaner working in the field. They’re one of my favourite combines of all times.
same
A very good combine. Gleaner has kept their basic design for many years. If it ain't broke......don't fix it. Awesome video Jason 👍🏻.
I’ve never seen many Gleaner combines but always thought it was distinctive. Good video.
Great video Jason. We have a 1993 R52 with a deutz air cooled motor in it.
I really enjoy running my little R40. It's a worker for sure!!! It harvest all my small grains, corn and soybeans. Thanks for the video!
Looks like the silver seeder is threshing it with the real rather then the rotor!
Amazing combine greeting from burley Idaho bigtractorpower
I love the sound of Gleaner combines 💪
I always enjoy seeing Gleaners in these videos. He sure was moving with that thing in this one.
Love what you’re doing,keep them coming 😀🇺🇸
i like how combines work! it keeps the good stuff in and takes the bad stuff out.
Great Video. Glad to see another Gleaner video
Stay tuned for a C62
Loved to sit in the seat when grandad sold parts at the local Allis Chalmers dealership - 1962? Go Allis!
That's a cool combine😉👍 nice wheat harvest action👍👍
Thank you for watching.
Super Awesome video. As always.
My friend.
Have a super amazein🌉night.
I’ve thought about gleaners but the nearest dealer that works on combines is almost three hours away Deere and casein are 15 minutes away
i bought a r60 gleaner at a dealer 90 miles away for 25 thousand. bean head corn head and wide row corn head i use and a pickup platform .
Great video good to see y'all
The Deutz Allis was a cool find

Big tractor power. #1
We are running a new gleaner s97 with a macdon fd235 just got done doing wheat. We also farm corn and soybeans.
Very nice. The S97 is a great combine. I filmed a centennial S97 a few weeks ago.

This fellow needs to slow the reel down some. It's pre processing the wheat
Really nice video Buddy! Greeting from Brazil!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Thank you Craig.

I remember seeing one these in missouri harvesting soybeans down the road not far where my mom lives as a child

Have and still run pair of R60s and a N5, two L2s and an M2. Cut wheat, rye, corn and soybeans.
How do you like the R60s? I'm looking at one. It's a one owner with 2100 separator hrs. Got a m2 now.
The Gleaner has been around a while, I remember them when I was a kid, they wasn't as big then as they are now
Good video.
Good looking drill you got there hahahaha 😊
I would like you to do a video on a tribune T 1000 the world’s largest combine harvester
Hey, I live in central North Dakota and we just started wheat harvest and we run two s97 gleaner combines and a 1050 grain cart pulled by a case magnum you should come video
Awesome gleaner 👍🏾I notice the header wasn’t all the way down, was it cause of the terrain?
Gleaners are real wheat eating machines!
They are. Good machines.
$121,000 won’t buy you much today 🤦♂️ it’s amazing what things cost today
Looks like the video is on fast forward, that thing is moving
It was moving right through 100 bu wheat with ease.
Not a farmer , but it seems like he’s pushing her a little fast in the beginning???
No it is harvesting at a good speed. If the combine was going too fast the wheat would be bending and dragging in head before the sickles cut it.
Do you know what year this particular combine is?
We got a 2004-2011 Gleaner R55
Jason, when are you going to do that thousand bushel combine people need to be introduced to it I don’t think enough people know about it I don’t even remember the name unfortunately
I think they are really decent machines but the older ones don't spread straw worth a $hit. Nice footage tho buddy
Someone did a lot of modifications to that combine
Seems the 8.3 was a good choice for that machine as a repower
Thats what engine the RED combines use 👍
@@freebooter247 it'd be a good choice for any color
Not better then Deutz V8 Aircooled
Seems like he's moving awful fast. Rain in the forecast?
Dude’s flying…
It says R60g on side. What does the g mean?
I run an M2.
It’s missing some of the original sheetmetal. It used to say gleaner across the side but all that’s left is the G.
Does the farmer have the old engine?
What year was this old machine manufactured?
1986

We when from A/C to John Deere combines😮
That guy really enjoys beating his wheat…reel speed doesn’t seem like it needs to be that fast

That's actually why it's appealing to me. It's very industrial looking. It's so ugly it's beautiful.
