Kashmir Bat Manufacturers To Take Legal Action Against SONY TV, Shark Tank India participants

- Cricket Bat Manufacturers Association of Kashmir (CBMAK) on Monday announced its decision to pursue legal action against SONY Entertainment Television and the participants of Shark Tank India's Season 3 episode aired on January 30, 2024.
The association alleged that contestants Hamad Tramboo and Saad Tramboo, representing Tramboo Kashmir Willow cricket bats, made false claims about the Kashmir Cricket Bat Manufacturing industry, thereby damaging its reputation.
Fawzul Kabiir, spokesperson of CBMAK and owner of Gr8 sports, said they will not allow anyone to make false claims that could harm the industry. He said the false claims made on the show, particularly by participants who allegedly misrepresented themselves as pioneers in the industry, are unacceptable. “We have continued this industry despite witnessing ups and downs, and now, those who don't have anything to do with this industry are claiming to be its forefathers,” Kabiir said.

There was discussion that Kashmir willow bat market is 300 crore and they are trying to compete there. They only sell 1000 bat as of now.
I don’t think they lied that whole 300 crore market is theirs.
Facts: they did tell that they do have competitors in KASHMIR but they said that they can make those bats at a higher rate

bought one for hard tennis. Bat finishing around handle area was not good. From my first net session itself I got to know the bat quality. Bat was giving vibrations when hitting the ball, stroke was not good, overall bat was not good for hard tennis cricket.
Anyway I have returned the bat to them, they deducted 500 for returning.
Better to go for other manufactures and always make sure to check their return policies. Good quality bat provides will always fully refund the amount.

I can't understand what they actually want. Their business, their plant so obviously their manufacturing. I am assuming no one has complete ownership of wood in Kashmir. The only way I can see this being a problem is the company falsely states that they are the manufacturers, but are just buying from someone and selling in their name.
