Thanks for chiming in, Bronx Hippie! Just captures that flavor as best we can...preserved, stewed, summer plums in January are better than no plums off of the tree in January in Seattle!
@@casafiorescucina I have a tree it's only been in the ground 8 months I was wondering how they tasted fresh but I'm happy I have some recipe's from your channel ❤️🙏🏽
@@TheBronxHippie yes, give it some time and eventually you will get fruit. The are sweet and sour when fresh... and if you let them mature longer, move sweet. Italian plums are just so darn tasty! I saw your garden... looks like you have some nice stuff! I had kiwi vines for many years. It took 4-5 years, but eventually I have 150 pounds of kiwi - and they keep for a long time in the fridge or a cold garage. And an amazingly beautiful plant! Best of luck in your garden adventures!
@@casafiorescucina thank you sooo much for checking out my garden!! And for all of the information it's truly appreciated 😁❤️ hopefully 4/5years I'll be harvesting tuns of plums and kiwi
@@TheBronxHippie Love that you have some unique plants that many do not have! Keep that up! I don't live in the Bronx, but I do live in a pretty busy part of Seattle, so I am an urban gardener too... have been for a long time. Over time, the wonders of nature will enchant you and fulfill you and fill your plate and imagination with the wonderful fruits of your labor. Stick with it. For me, it is the best thing for the mind and soul to get through the tough times and to create some of the best times.
