Fountain, Mn and the long gone Milwaukee Road Depot

I'm getting a little deeper into Hiawathaland with a trip to Fountain, MN to see where the Milwaukee Road depot was. We started at the Fillmore County Historical Society and I sure found a lot of railroad history there. Did you know that Fountain is the sink hole capital of the USA? It was one great trip.

My grand parents had a farm just outside Fountain. The Strom's. I've been back a many times. I was born in Preston and spent my early years in Lanesboro. I remember when the trains went thru Lanesboro. :-) Thanx for the memories. :-)
