There is very little reporting on this from any big media outlet. I googled Somalia Airstrike and got close to nothing. Super interesting video and great journalism
It's because they are still so fixated on "orange man in office still bad" even though that isn't true at all instead of reporting on real world issue news. We knew this was going to be happening again.
DEI topics, foreign and domestic, don't have a chance
@@WackadoodleMalarkeyHow is this DEI?
This is literally made from summarizing news articles about the topic. When I googled Somali Airstrikes I got plenty of results for it. This isn't great journalism, its literally the information that is already out there put into a single video.
And when I use bing every result is a current news article about the topic. Nothing in this video is new.
So that's where Tony Stark was building Iron Man?
Yes in that movie he was in a cave
Idk man, I thought that’s where Nicolas Cage were going to sell rifles.

Simon the congo story goes so much deeper. As a south african we shouldnt even be there. We should get our soldiers out of there and not threaten war against Rwanda. Follow the money and mines and you will see why our soldiers are there
You are not South African, you are something else but certainly not a South African
BRICS is trying to fight off the west from securing resources in the Congo?
Doesn't France supply Rwanda arms, so it's a war for minerals .
Edit: imo We should side with the west and step out of the conflict.
We need jobs and allies that will invest in our industry instead of exporting out raw resources for cheap.

Yo the other reply is missing. It says it's there, but I click to read and nothing
Tutsi live on the both sides of the Border, the fact that Congo was using white European Mercenary's says alot. The Congo gov only care about mines and not the people, Europeans Drew borders on Tribal lands causing this issue. Africa Borders should be redrawn, Clans should live amongst each other not separated by Borders. I hope Rwanda continues its support for its own people. South Africa and the UN should stay neutral
The situation room is a collection of mini-documentaries. Each one is short enough to keep you laser focused, but long enough to give you detailed information.
The new edition of time-stamps helps, as you know the time lapse between recording, and final edit.

"You guys need to spend more money on weapons" says the biggest arms seller in the world
The United States is also the biggest buyer, so at least they aren't hypocritical about it
@mitchells7634 I mean yeah. The government takes tax money and put it into weapon spending, which the weapon manufacturers use to lobby politicians to make them spend even more on weapons
Thanks for covering this.
A sentence to help this video.

Can you please do a video on the situation developing in the Siberian resistance to the Russian government's exploitation of their people and natural resources. Thank you for your time and consideration of this topic. Love all your vids and content !

It's funny how a lot of these "siberians" have ukranian surnames....
@Guadalajara1937 Its okay, Ukraine can just annex Russia and say they were ethnically Ukrainian. Ya know, just like Crimea.
Why do that when all the resistance members are going to fall out of a window before the video goes out?
I can't believe that Islamic fundamentalists are even operating in the Space Station. At least we got em

Csn you talk more about serbia path to civil war?
They already released a 30 minute video about it days ago
@@jerrywil7012 He's being sarcastic. In that earlier video Warfronts talked about a possible war between Serbia and NATO, which is frankly ridiculous, presumably to get more clicks, so now people are joking about it.
I'm definitely keeping a close eye on that. I know many people affected by the wars of the 90's. It was a terrible time for so many people.
Still a net positive channel overall. Thank you for continuing to bring attention to largely neglected issues on such a consistent basis.

crazy we live in a time where people like this can give real news without bias that’s just as good on the ground reporting.

Considered Isis has a such a tiny group in Somalia, idk why the us isn’t striking Al shabaab who actually controls a lot of Somalia

I miss "Warographics", but I appreciate Warfront. Mostly because it covers at least something that's not always in never-ending trending
If the EU dosen't investment in local arms industry it will absolutely make them dependent on the US or other arms countries and it is necessary for the EU to be independent because as it has been seen totalitarian populist has been on the rise specially in the US and Canada any other populist like Trump that gets elected in 2028 without the EU being independent with its own arms industry will be disastrous for them
Trump, the totalitarian that wants to lower taxes and make the government smaller as opposed to the "liberals" that want a big government and more taxes.
What makes trump a dictator though im genuinely curious as to your answer
EU and UK need to seriously spend big on defence and spend it at home; revitalise European defence industries to make us all self-sufficient in defence.
It'll be a nice boost to national economies, too.
Europe is already dependent.
None of them have a martial bent necessary to maintain their own arsenals besides France which does so out of pride thne an sense of militery standing
Ah yes, current leadership in US are just like Nazi's. Don't you all remember back in the 1930's when the Nazi's tried to decrease overall size of government and cut funding to state media.
I really don’t understand why when the EU was setup there wasn’t like a procurement commission or something designed to try and standardise equipment across the continent to allow for easy use amongst nations. It seems like a real logical thing to do, but politics is full of idiots.
@@shinkicker404 That's what NATO is literally for. But again that was us (USA) that mostly funded that as well.
Full of idiots?!?
Like your run-on sentence?
None of these global organizations are made to actually help. They are created to take opportunities and steongman weaker nations. It is very similar to organized crime.

@@williamkreth There's several ways, VPN's among them.
And the Russian's savy and motivated enough to reach UA-cam are likely to be the ones who don't buy into the national propaganda.
Many amazing Russians ! You just need a new younger president that is not stuck in a Cold War Soviet mindset
On the topic of EU military spending, I think we will see in our lifetime a federalization of the EU. It makes sense from a defense standpoint, unify everyone under one single banner for common defense. It's how the US formed and will help to keep foreign aggressors out as well as finally allow them to spend efficiently for defense.
Thus also would inevitably allow the EU to become a superpower on the global stage because comboned resources would allow strength projection past their borders in a much more significant way rather than relying on single smaller economies to do this.
6:42 ISS will always mean International Space Station to me, no matter how confusing that makes the content of this video.
Topics aside, does anyone have knowledge about what wrist watch he's wearing?
Correction..... Actually, the mountains are called calmiskaad, not gollis mountains
If Donald Trump hadn’t made a core part of his campaign about him being “the peace candidate” I honestly wouldn’t give a shit. Like yeah congratulations another US president bombed some country in Africa in the Middle East. That’s pretty much standard at this point.
But that’s not what happened. therefore, I am going to call this shit out and I’m not the only one who’s going to call it out either.
I'm on the Trump train, but I sit by the door. The Don is running his mouth big time and only recently started delivering. Trust but verify, right?
Ok so you’re OK with him clearly not being a peace candidate? And starting more wars as long as he “delivers” his “promises” (most of which he broke already)
@@Curious-Mr.-Lee REALLY not a Trump fan, but the guy has been in power for a few weeks and a lot of his promises are really long term proposals. We'll get a much better idea in two years.
Zoom out there's alot of countries fucking around in africa
and not one second has been put into lowering food prices
So my comments aren’t showing up.
Trump is shaking things up on a global scale , Europe got lazy relying on the U.S. to tidy up after them , I for one am delighted

Aren't we supposed to be America first now?
That said, I am happy justice has been done here.
The evaluation criteria Trump’s administration has told the press are:
Does it make America stronger?
Does it make America safer?
Does it make America more prosperous?
America first doesn’t mean total isolationism. Likewise this seems to meet two of those.

New finance minister in Norway is oldman Nato Jens Stoltenberg. So I guess military spending will increase.
On the second topic... It would be easy to do a dual solution if countries like France get their panties in a bunch. 51% of whatever total budget is raised be it Grant or Loan has to be spent within EU boarders. 49% can be spent abroad. This allows for early purchasing of critical arms (Air Defense, Strategic Missiles, etc) while long term production is being stood up for less essential but still important arms (Artillery, small arms, etc). It speeds up the time line, keeps America tethered, ecourages domestic gtowth, and achieves the end goal.
Sounds to me like Bitt3rSteel stepped in to fix the SAF's disaster save.

Legit question: why hasn't Africa done an EU style economic & multinational governance system? Or a UK style Commonwealth?
The world needs better leaders. Why does it always seem that power hungry and greedy people always end up in charge.
Because everyone else is minding their own buisness and isn't interested in dominating others lives like "Karens" are.
Aaaah.... Good morning everyone...

Golis mountains look pretty remote. Area isn’t near any area control by Somali government. The president of Somalia probably had to look the place up.
We gotta talk about that shirt Simon......
As an American;
If Poland wants us there and they pay for it shit lets go. Europe needs to decide whether its more important to virtue signal your nations away with migrants who will dip and run home the moment russian shells hit their communities or to protect your soverignty.
So we all on a list now? LMAO
Somalia wasn't informed about the airstrikes. Mogadishu had personally requested airstrikes from Donald trump himself directly. The Somali government offensive against isis started last December.
As a thought:
European leaders should look at successful weapon/s (systems) they have manufactured in the past. Pare down to the (most) efficient that can be modified for current cartridges. Then retool those lines. The benefits are existing experience, knowledge, plans, and patents to make this (re)start up economically effective while addressing the time factor. It is even likely prior production equipment might be found and recycled into the new program.
Overall old is not a bad thing in this regard...
With no political allegiance, and the knowledge of my small brain, i believe the gloves are off.

That's exactly what I thought when I heard that. Figures the one thing he does that I like he manages to ruin any chance of using it to increase our soft power at the same time. We can destroy it but we cannot rebuild now.
He takes us one step forward and 57 steps back. 😵
Having read what the money was spent on, it is somewhat questionable to call a lot of it aid.
March twenty-threeth?😅
I would totally approve of a separation between the warring generals to their own little kingdoms. It would definitely be more representative of the ethnic and tribal borders the straight lines it currently has.
Simon I’d be careful making a comparison about Western Europe and how long it would take to conquer that. A certain Austrian painter would argue that it wouldn’t take that long.
Maybe its time to begin standardizing not just ammunition types, but an entire artillery systems drones, missles, a standard tank, APC, IFV, MLRS, supply truck, passenger vehicle, etc. Its time for countries to put logistics concerns ahead of commercial concerns and national pride. NATO shouldn't have to supply 10 different sets of parts for 10 different systems that do the exact same thing. That it isn't a smart way to fight a war. It isn't smart for wealthy countries to produce only extremely high-end systems and extremely expensive systems which more middle and lower income NATO and NATO-aligned countries can only field in very small numbers if at all. Affordable, reasonably effective, reliable systems that don't require an obscenely large and complicated supply chain should be standard where possible.
"We must spend more to prevent war."
Funny, European countries said the same thing just before WWI.

ISS???
Why did we stand aside and watch as the genocide was happening in Rwanda?
Racism.
Why aren't we talking more about what's happening in Africa?
Racism.
2025, man, feels like history is repeating itself, and maybe for the last time.
Less to do with racism & more to do with desensitisation. There is nearly always a vicious war/ rebellion/ terrorist attacks going on somewhere in Africa , where hundreds of civilians are being kidnapped/ massacred. Eventually the world public become like 'What? Again?' or 'What? That still going on?'. This is not Sudan, Somalia's or even DRC's first go round.
Sicarios 2 predicted this🤣
Can somebody explain why war in the Sudan or The Congo is of any concern to us. Whoever is in charge this week will trade with us for weapons.
The highest level of humanity operates on a global mindset. Everything that happens everywhere is our concern. We have planets to colonize, so we are fast tracking this world order business.
@ATF- Are you prevented from expending all of your personal resources on such pursuits? Extinction of a people group or our species is an end state; same as colonization across multiple star systems. Achieving, or avoiding, any outcome should not involve violating personal freedom.
last week sending aid this week sending drones.
how did you get 33 trillion in debt again?
@@fuzzjunky We should not be sending any aid, even food, funded by tax collections. Private individuals can send as much as they like.
We should not be sending weapons paid for by tax collections. The weapons should be traded(and their cost inflated) so that we get additional value for them. We should not consider who is going to be harmed by those weapons as long as we maximize our profit on them.
If a country has no economic value, they should get neither aid nor trade. The life outcomes of their citizens should be of no concern to our government.
I would argue that our debt comes from spending without expecting a return. Our 1 trillion dollar a year military could easily eradicate our debt by lowering our costs, and increasing our revenue, worldwide; but no one is willing to think that way any longer.

It's really easy for the EU to get the fundings for its' defense, just reduce the gargantuan and ineffective European bureaucracy, we have segretariats of undersegretariats of segretariats of undersegretariats which make decisions making ineffective and time consuming, I think trillions can be saved that way.

If you want to see a prime example of extreme waste of money look at the German navy👀 They spent money on frigates which are multiple times more expansive than comparable frigates but with barely any weopnary and already out of date when introduced. Another amazing example is the 2 support ships which are gonna cost 1bn (yes billions) € each which can barely do more than the old ones 😢
