OH!!! Emma, this is soooo beautiful. I could watch you water color all day. You are so very talented. I wish I could do just a smidgen of what you do. Thank you for sharing you God given talent. Love this winter bouquet!
Hi Emma, Thank you so much, its beautiful Flower. I really enjoy watching your tutorials. it's so relaxing to listen to you and paint with you. With small children its must be hard but we all so Appreciate of your great work.Thank you, you & family have a wonderful day.😘❤
Just sat and painted this today, love the use of blues and grey. So pleased with it, my first loose floral piece. Thank you Emma, you make it look so simple.
This video was very informative especially with painting “white” flowers. I’ve been painting for 32 years being an art teacher and I’ve still learned some nice techniques from you. Thank you. Charming.
Emma, thank you so much for this tutorial! My guestroom needs some pictures, and this piece is going to have a place in it! Absolutely beautiful, love it!
I love Hellebores. Thinking of trying to grow one in a planter on my porch since the gophers eat everything in sight. Beautiful painting, the color palette is so pretty and tranquil ❤️
This is my absolutely favorite color composition ever!!! It’s such a masterpiece bouquet!!! 🔥🙌 I keep coming back to look at it and have painted this one multiple times since January!
Your pronunciation is correct for Helleboro. The plant is sometimes called Lenten Rose because of the time of year they bloom. Mine here in Western Kentucky have bloomed through the snow.
I actually appreciate the heat and fast drying you were experiencing because that happens to me a lot and it can be a battle. Watching how you managed that was really helpful to me. Maybe I need to turn our heat down.
What a great surprise to discover your beautifull bouquet this morning … I can’t wait to try to make it even if it seems difficult .. thank you one more time
Dusty Miller, lambs ear is more green and not such a textured shape That being said this is a stunning colour palette and composition so amazing Emma!!!❤ I love it especially because I’m a January baby
I was gifted watercolour materials for Christmas and somehow stubbled across your channel. I have been doing it for 3 weeks and have created over 10 pieces ! I am trying to do this mixing the 5 colours that I have so but have been really enjoying the process! Thank you and hello from the Kawartha lakes area, originally from Niagara region. Merci!
This turned out so gorgeous. Such talent. Thank you for sharing your techniques and skills with us. I have been following you for about 3 years and I must say you are still among my top favorites to paint along with. Oh and I just today ordered your brushes.
Emma can you do super very beginning florals and landscape paintings for young students? You are my very favorite artist! You are the very sweetest lady I know! Bless you and yours!
You are seriously The best at these! This one took my breath away when I saw it in my feed 😍 those blues are to die for! Reminds me of those blue teapots
Emma I’m so delighted I happened upon your channel. You are so talented but I think it’s your grounded personality that keeps me coming back every day. I’m a dabbler and have followed along on some of your beginner pieces which have actually turned out with just a few boo boos. I like your practice videos as well. Isn’t it amazing how many people you have touched?
I love love your work, im trying to paint something everyday, you are an inspiration. Adding the dark detail to the lightest rose did the trick. I also love the calendar idea. I never know what to do with stuff I create. Thanks so much
Hellebores are also commonly known as winter roses among other common names. I always remember them as providing colour when theres not much colour in the winter garden. There are such a variety of colours now
I just got my brushes and they are my new favorite watercolor supply! They are the best brushes I’ve ever used! I actually have them in my watercolor favorites video!😆
I really enjoyed this tutorial and can now see how much I need paper that stays wet longer. Thank you for this calendar idea. I’ll do this one over with diff paper.
I like your videos for many things but specially because you take your time and you don’t over speed we have the time to see you making details … we need it ! Sorry for the bad English…
This is stunning! I love the colour palette and am looking forward to following this series. Calendars as Christmas gifts! Thank you for the inspiration and tutorial.

By the way, I got one of these flowers for my birthday the other day. The name is changed to Winter rose in Norwegian. The label said Winter Angels, Frostkiss and Molly’s White.
have you tried using a fine spray bottle to dampen your paper? I find them quite handy. Just practice spray till you get it to a fine spray from the bottle. i enjoy watching you paint.
Could use a little humidifier. With heat I find everything dries so fast. Great idea for Callender. I just came across your site. Really enjoy your painting
Thank you for these beautiful tutorials. Quick question-I notice you do not tape down your paper. Are you using a block or perhaps a person doesn’t really need to tape paper down? I would appreciate your thoughts.
Loved it ! One question , how do you know where to put your flowers and leaves , I mean the composition, I try not to copy and I try to make my own composition but either I put too much or too little 🤦🏻♀️
@@EmmaLefebvre I just tried hookers green and paynes grey before you replied, it was a nice dark green too, thanks. Just got your new brush set...it is fantastic!!!

Beautiful painting and a great idea.
I have never seen a blue hellebore. Mine range pink/red/violet with some lovely white flowers with a pale greenish tinge.
Yes, you're saying 'Hellebore' correctly. They're lovely flowers. 😊
I love the colour palette you've used here, too. 😊
January is blistering hot in South Africa. The month of hydrangeas, Roses and agapanthus.
Guess you’ll have to reverse your paintings on the calendar!
Fantastic creation,thank you!💟
What a great idea! Thank you!
Love this idea!
omg you are so talented
Very nice! ❤

In Norwegian this flower is called Julerose (Christmas rose). I find this name easier than the English name 💐
By the way, I got one of these flowers for my birthday the other day. The name is changed to Winter rose in Norwegian. The label said Winter Angels, Frostkiss and Molly’s White.
wonderful colors ^_^
I love it...thanks
have you tried using a fine spray bottle to dampen your paper? I find them quite handy. Just practice spray till you get it to a fine spray from the bottle. i enjoy watching you paint.
Very nice

Great idea for Callender. I just came across your site. Really enjoy your painting
I have one. But unfortunately my studio lights just get too hot sometimes
Nice 🙂
beautiful! I practiced my petals and leaves while watching. If I tried to follow along, I would end up with a mess 😂
lovely.
When is the next installment to the calendar flowers. Can’t wait for February.
Gorgeous Emma! Could it be the canyson paper causing the quick drying? Would the arches perform better or was it just a hot day? 🤔
Canson heritage is actually pretty good. It was just hot in my room, especially under studio lights
Thank you for these beautiful tutorials. Quick question-I notice you do not tape down your paper. Are you using a block or perhaps a person doesn’t really need to tape paper down? I would appreciate your thoughts.

I have a video coming out this week on leaf placement!
Lovely, but the roses appear kind of pale, otherwise SO pretty for the feel of January!
Clearly, I need better paper and paint! Thanks for the inspiration.
Please tell me what colors do you mix to get your eucalyptus green, i think it is also the grey dark green on your craftamo brush box.
Hookers green dark and dioxazine purple!
@@EmmaLefebvre
I just tried hookers green and paynes grey before you replied, it was a nice dark green too, thanks. Just got your new brush set...it is fantastic!!!
This paper wasn't very nice to you. Haha could feel your frustration. But it came out amazing! Skills.
Thank you. I think my office was just hot, especially under my studio lights
Gorgeous
