lool ni-ki is younger than me but he's still my ult bias. I stan him bc of his personality and pure talent, that's it.
also, he looks tiny but this boy is almost the tallest in the whole group 😂. to give you perspective, he's basically the same height as namjoon (he will definitely surpass him soon though)

About BLACKPINK’s training period:
BLACKPINK was originally scheduled to debut in 2012 which is why their training periods are so long (it was delayed by four years). The group name however was Pink Punk and the members were pretty different (I believe Rose wasn’t even part of the company at that point.) There were 9 girls who are known to have been members of Pink Punk but they pretty much all left due to either health issues or because the debut was delayed for so long. Some Pink Punk members you may know of include Hannah and Eunbi (debuted as soloists), Euna Kim (The Ark and KHAN), Jinny (Secret Number), and Miyeon (G-IDLE). The four remaining members of Pink Punk eventually went on to debut as BLACKPINK.
YG’s Training Style
If you know YG’s training style you’ll know that YG tends to sort their groups into teams which eventually debut as groups (Team A debuted as Winner and Team B debuted as iKON). Pink Punk was considered one team while the other team was named Future 2NE1 (which never debuted). Their newest boy group was also originally made of teams but these teams were put into a competition show and only the winners debuted under YG. The teams were Treasure A (also known as Silver Boys), Treasure B, Treasure C, and Treasure J (from Japan). The reason I bring up the teams is that this is often times the reason why the training periods are so long. They form the teams early on but don’t debut then until the company thinks it’s time (so basically the trainees don’t leave because they think they’re close to debut when in reality the debut date is pushed back for years and years). Some trainees eventually get tired and leave (like Miyeon or Jinny) while others try to endure until debut (like BLACKPINK or Yedam). Sorry this last part was kinda off topic but it never hurts to have some knowledge on the industry and its companies!

the members wanted Heeseung to be the Leader but since he is the center and the main vocalist he would overshadow the others so Jungwon became it

I’m confused, why you refused to choose Ni-Ki as your bias? Because he is younger than you? I’m a 00 liner and my bias is Ni-Ki, he’s more than 5 year younger than me. A bias is the one you like the most in a group based on his visuals, dancing skills, vocals, rapping, personality or anything else. I think there’s no limit to choose a bias in a group. It’s not like sexualizing them, we like them more.
Mainly because I like NiKis visuals, dancing and all that but I think I like Jays personality more since we are on the same level if that makes sense
