Good luck over the next 12 months in all your varied endeavours - looking forward to hearing all your news (great teasers from you and Lord Stan) - Cheers, Alastair from Scotland
Hi again it's so good to see you on UA-cam again. Hope you are doing well,I don't know when you have Christmas. Merry Christmas to you I've been working on my layout in the garage. It,s a HO MRL layout 18 x15 I've been working on the hot box detector and the heater melter for the switches. Again it is good to see you again from Neil schwerdt in west valley city Utah
Hi Gregg great to see the Birdwood sub on the move again. Still waiting to build the out building for the new train barn but with a little luck we hope to be under way soon. Looking forward to Lord Stanley’s holiday greeting! In the meantime I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year. Cheers from Colorado! Scottie
Can’t wait to see the small water scene finished. One issues I have had with water was if there is a hole, it will find it. But it’s fun to work on. The layout looks great, can’t wait to see the plans for the new layout. Cheers from mild Nebraska.
My DW Boss Head of HR for states largest employer Ochsner Hospital who retired a couple years after she did is IN AU right now. Took a cruise from Rome 54 days to AU. They are spending 12 days in AU before returning home Jacksonville, FL USA.
g'day mate, it's the grumpy old fart from n.h. here, just thought i'd pass along a thought from a guy named boomer diorama, who did a nice bit on doing water. don't remember the date, but it worked quite well for him. keep up the great work, love your show, and say merry christmas to your alter ego. john
The layout has really come along nicely Gregg. Your channel has also grown all of these years. The bridge scene will be awesome, just like the rest of the scenes. I will use your layout as inspiration for my future layout in the basement of my new house. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks Bob! I've learned a lot on this one , so the new one will come along much quicker , with more scenery finished..LOL. Glad to be of some inspiration! Cheers Gregg.
I guess so ? SOme of those units are over 15yrs old and still going strong, but most are on their 2nd motor...the heat kills them down here I thnk? Thanks for watching!
NCE has finally produced cBO3 power house pro 5 amp system with USB connection. Was told JMRI has written the set up for the USB connection. First units were shipped to AU and UK.
G'Day Gregg Mate the more you do to the Layout the harder its gonna be to take it apart (mentally I mean). You wont want to 😀. But I'm still keen to see how it will look before the big move day comes around. Thanks for the update. Take care Matey.
Thats for sure! DOn't know how it will feel , but its 15 yrs of work so far? I will be using all of it again , so that will speed up the new build a bit as far as the legs and some of the table sections go . I will shoot some of the dismantling but thats a way off yet! Thanks for watching. Gregg 🙂
Gregg, Great to see your still with us. Sure do miss your videos. Will Stan Dardgauge Be back this holiday season? As always, Really love you and your Videos. Chuck.
Morning Gregg 😊 Thanks for the update on Birds wood sub 👍🏻 I always enjoy watching your videos 👍🏻 If no video before hope you and all your family have a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for 2024 matey 😄Stevie 🏴
It is great to see your wonderful layout again. I love the slow movement of your long freight trains, and the splendid double headers. I look forward to seeing you how your move goes and how your redevelop your railway in the new location. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the northern hemisphere. Paul
Thank you Paul! The move is a way off yet , but things are happening in the background with some news in the new year! Seasons greetings and see you in 2024. Gregg.
Thats true Richard, but the price of a repair would be more than what I paid for the new one? It's amazing how more efficient the new model is ...I'm getting more KW than I ever did with the original on the same panels! Though the old one was very good too. CHeers Gregg.
Hello Gregg, I been showing my locos at my club with your CVS shortcuts. I did while back I can't find part 4 wondering if you ever posted it if you did can you help me find it thanks! by the way all the members are REALLY impressed on how my locals run prototypical thanks four those steps. merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
I have been using florists foam as the basis for my rock molds with paper soaked in plaster draped over and then rock molds over the top. The florists foam to me is better than styrofoam even cardboard. Just my experience for what it is worth..
Maybe we can meet up. My wife and I will be passing through Adelaide on our way back to Tas 22/1. I'm planing to take a look at Mt Lofty Station to check out where you make those videos.
Hi Dave , that would of been great but I'm back in Brisbane now , but please have a good look around Stirling and the Station! You can check out my block , opposite the station and try out my new driveway. and park where the new layout shed will be going....LOL. Visit the main street of stirling and have a coffee or better still , get a takeaway and enjoy it sitting at the station! Most trains have gone through by about 10 am and then mid afternoon through till late. Enjoy your trip and catch you when I move down to Stirling. Cheers Gregg.
Where the bridge is set down and in the front of other tracks (looks like 2) could you place them on a bridge as well? It looks like you're Proto-Freelancing so you could do that.
Well Gregg finaly ,Im watching you for a long time, all your video about BEMF the CV series and all. I fallow your tips for programming my engines ,they run great but not as yours.. Just one thing missin
Thanks Ron! Adjusting CV's is a lot of trial and error, keep going and remember to write down the values so you know where you are! Glad you got good results so far! Cheers Gregg.

9 times out of 10 it's a 10c pesky electrolytic capacitor! I'll follow you're guidance on the water feature...!

Thats a good idea Bevan, especially for areas that need some strength? I'll look into it and see how much it costs?
Cheers Gregg.

I could do that Colin, but I prefer to seperate tracks in scenes where I can and I will plan for it in the new layout.

Dang, u ever going to stay in one place long enough to get a decent amount of scenery in?
I've been here for over twenty years.....I think that's enough!
