You are an artist! The decorations are so charming and unique!! I am child of the 50's and my gran had some of those paper glitter and silver pipe cleaner type decorations with the santas etc. like you made but in the form of little mini folded cards that she set out half open on her entry way table....what a memory, thank you.

I absolutely love the vintage ornaments!!!! Emily if you use cornstarch in your mould before you add the clay your castings come out wonderfully.
I’ve been making ornaments from tumbling towers and I love them!!!
You need to dust your moulds with corn starch, that way your moulds will release much easier. Great crafting.

Loved all of these! If I had to pick a favorite, I think it would be the Santa tray. For what it's worth, I've seen other crafters put a fine coat of powder on the molds to help them release. I know that Teresa from Our Greene Acres does a lot with these molds, so you can find out from her site what the powder is. I think it's baking soda, but I'm not sure. Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful crafts!

Hi Emily, the Santa ornaments I can tell you for sure look vintage. My parents had an antique store when I was a kid and this vintage Christmas decoration was on our tree. You did such an amazing job here and your constantly paying attention to detail really pays off. My suggestion is if you want to put them on your tree go completely for the vintage look. I don't think they should be mixed in with anything but vintage. These look so original. I love the trees with the patina and they look fantastic with the ornaments. Same for your Santa tray and yes I see a Victorian vibe to him. Thank you for a wonderful video full of inspiration.
Paint your moulds while the clay is wet and you’ll get less cracking.
All of these are just gorgeous, but I have to say that my absolute favorite is the Santa tray. ❤❤
These vintage ornaments blew my mind. They’re the best crafting I’ve seen this season and think I might spend the months after Christmas practicing on these to add more ornaments to my tree next year.

I loved it all! My favorites are the paper, vintage Santa ornaments, and the Victorian Santa on the tray.
That tray with the Santa mold looks as if it were a priceless museum piece, no kidding. It really is pretty and different. Emily you out did yourself with that one. You know how I as the viewer would look at hundreds of ideas, but amongst them, there is always the special one that comes through. Love all my favorite Crafters when they bring that surprise out the bag. 🥰🤗

You don’t put cornstarch in your mold first? I have to because I don’t have patience to go that slow getting them out. All of theses are so very gorgeous! I love vintage things!
