Who is your favorite Rookie RB in 2024?
Ben's set-up if the rookie RBs is what i've been trying to tell ppl even since before the draft with the simplistic "bad class" analysis - but yeah ppl use "day 3 RB" as a board, blunt cudgel and it's just not the way to see it anymore
The Chargers backfield is really fascinating. It's a team that profiles to have close to, if not more, then 500 carries based on Roman's history. Dobbins is done, Spiller appears to be garbage, Edwards has always been an 8 or so carries a game guy... until last year and either age or increased volume really hurt his efficiency...plus he's always been a zero in the passing game. It's really hard to see him having more than the 200 carries he got last year, but let's say he gets to 250 who is picking up the, at minimum, 250 carries? Vidal seems like the more reasonable answer than Spiller finally gets an extended look since he's been terrible, but on only 55 total carries or Dobbins not only bounces back from a really bad injury for a RB, but also somehow stays on his feet. And someone has to get the third down role. Either way I'm 25% Vidal. See how it works out.
