- Black cats are the best! Why? For starters, they’re awesome - their black coats make them stand out in a crowd and their beautiful eyes will capture your heart. They’re also incredibly cute, with that fluffy black fur!
You never know what they’ll do next - black cats are always full of surprises, whether it’s funny or totally weird behaviour. Plus, black cats are known for bringing good luck - so there’s something to look forward to when you decide to adopt one. And who can forget about their crazy antics? After all these reasons, it's easy to see why black cats are this best.

I had a black kitten with deep blue eyes. I named him Lucky. His mother was a Siamese which is why he had deep blue eyes.

I had a black cat up until 7 years ago. Onyx the Panther-Ninja. He was perfect. He told me this, constantly. Seriously, I don't think that cat ever went an hour of his life without purring.
I miss him, but his place in my home has been filled by a brother & sister pair of orange cats, Sheldon & Amy.
I don't know about these 7 reasons. I do know about a black cat I babysat for 10 years. I kept him while his mother traveled for work or went on vacation. He was extremely handsome. So shiny! A welcome , well behaved house guest. Fun loving personality. Fit right in as if he was a member of the family. He passed away at the age of 13. He is missed and remembered.
I have a black cat but it turned out to have a tint of brownish and a white star on his chest when it grew up, but he looks black.

I am helping a black cat that run away from my neighbor,after my neighbor gave other cats food, that cats attacked the black cat, according to my neighbor, but he doesn't let me pet him yet. I love cats.
we have 2 black cats. "Tar Kitty" looks exactly like the 2nd cat at .06 seconds, he was feral/stray when we got him. At 74 years old (me) he is the best cat we have ever owned. (we have had cats all our lives, even had 1 in our compound in Nam, plus 3 dogs) Tar is docile, not aggressive at all, lap baby at times. There is no amount of money we would take for Tar. Also, he has a huge mane in winter, our grand nieces said "look kitty gots a beard". I think he is a Norwegian Forest kitty.

Once i read a book about a black cat. During those days a black female cat appeared in our garden. She stayed with us for a year. One day when i was at work i got an kinda inner message about her being chased and kind of dying. My mother told me that day evening that the black cat was missing.... She was special.

Oh this list is total bullshit IMO. Except maybe for that one about black cats having better genetics/less health issues. Feline temperament isn't determined by coat color, except that 99% of calico and tortoiseshell cats are female, with like 80% of orange tabbies being male. In those cases you could argue that coat color does affect behavior, but only because it determines gender. Its gender, not coat color that affects behavior IMO Neutered male cats are known to be lazy as hell and more of a snuggle bug type of cat, but that hasn't really been my experience either. My neutered male brown tabby growing up was an inside/outside kitty. Sometimes he'd disappear for one, maybe two or even three nights. But would always come home, often starving. We were always like WTF dude, where in the hell have you been???
