  • In episode #021 of "The Mind Shift Podcast," Erwin and Aaron McManus sit down for a solo episode for the first time since The Arena Conference. In this episode they emphasize personal growth through diverse relationships and share engaging stories from our podcast. Some topics covered in this podcast:
Embrace Diversity for Personal Growth: Surrounding yourself with people who have different perspectives and personalities can be a catalyst for personal growth. Engaging in conversations with individuals of varying viewpoints can challenge and enrich your own beliefs and understanding.
Travel and Cultural Immersion: Travel experiences, like Erwin's visit to Montreal, can profoundly impact your worldview. Exploring new cultures and languages broadens your horizons and fosters empathy and creativity.
Authentic Relationships: Building authentic relationships and alliances is essential for personal and professional growth. The importance of having supportive friendships that benefit all parties is emphasized.
Self-Identity and Authenticity: Embracing your true self and shedding societal expectations and personas is a pivotal journey in personal growth. Both Erwin and Aaron share their experiences of self-discovery and embracing authenticity.
Communication Frequencies and Self-Perception: The concept of communication frequencies and how they shape our interactions is discussed. The episode challenges conventional notions of self-perception, inviting listeners to explore deeper dimensions of themselves and their communication styles.
In conclusion, we express gratitude for our Mind Shift community and would love for you to share this podcast with a friend.

Guys love the podcasts with guests for their insights and what you bring out but really love the solo ones that seem to reach a deeper level. Erwin praying for your eyes to heal completely. Merry Christmas to the McManus team and Mosaic community

“Most people discover the greatest insights about themselves in the conversations…
You best learn about yourself through human interaction and engagement.”
This statement summed up my masters fellowship, “The Weight of Being Seen” that I completed this year!
Great conversation per usual - love the new format interviews and your 1:1!

47:24 This!!! I understand so much more about me, how I think and what hits in my meetings with a close member on my team. This is such a great conversation.
I even screen recorded the portion of Erwin talking about his relationship with his wife and his evolution. Sent that to my wife as that is SO US. 😊

This is so needed. We can see all the other guests other places online. But we can't see the dynamic that happens when the two of u banter and so forth anywhere else.
The guests have been special. But need this way more. Maybe do guests every 3rd or 4th time.
Missed just the two of you so much.
Loved the playfulness and silliness too. When Erwin joked by saying I see the both of you, I spat the rice I was eating everywhere.

15:05 “Russia was technically allies with the US at the time.” It's kinda sad and ironic that we became better "friends" with Germany & Japan who were our enemies, than with Russia (even to this day) who was our ally against Germany. 17:08 "I don't accept that answer. ... No, I don’t accept that." - Aaron's push back on Erwin always makes me smile. 32:23 "Was there a fork in the road when you realized you no longer wanted to be acceptable, you wanted to be exceptional?" 36:49 "He (Jesus) is the sun, but I do question all the other planets." I think this is why I love Erwin ... what is amazing and true and should be marvelous to me, but yet feels scandalous ... because it changes my perception of reality. I think of Copernicus' observations and how it scandalized "the church", because it violated their perception of what they knew "had to be true" from their interpretation of one verse. Like Jesus standing in front of the Jewish religious leaders, they knew Jesus couldn't possibly be the Messiah, but they were dead wrong! What will we believe dogmatically, but actually be dead wrong about.
