When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
Nice, really like the designs on those carts.
Hi, Congratulation for your video, I'm the proud designer of the Ghostbusters PCB. The other three cartridges are designed by C64iSTANBUL and his great works has inspired me to design the Ghostbusters PCB (also I've designed a Quest for tires cartridge). Have fun for everyone with these C64 game cartridges ! :-)
Awesome work, my friend. I'd love a Goonies and Monty on the run ;) 😉 ..
On every thorn, delightful wisdom grows, In every rill a sweet instruction flows.
We cannot change our memories, but we can change their meaning and the power they have over us.
4:14 FYI the legs are wider to create friction. In assembly mass-production a pick'n'place machine picks up the chip and applies pressure to squeeze in the legs so it fits exactly into the hole. When the machine releases the chip the pressure on the legs keeps the chip in the holes so when it goes through the wave soldering machine the chip won't rise up.
4:43 When inserting an integrated circuit, examine the identifying mark for the corner that is pin#1. Tradition is to make the foil surrounding pin#1 location a different shape than the "wrong" corner pin hole foil.
Thanks for mentioning that :) .. Its something we do naturally and easy to miss saying .. Notch to notch :)
The video is very interesting, and so is the design of the cartridges
Thank you .. There not my design .. But ill be designing some different ones that no one has done yet :) .. Thanks for watch .:)
Good video. GHOSTBUSTER and PCBWAAAY what more do you need. Nice soldering 😊
Thanks mate ... Im enjoying making these cartridges .. Its nice to do something easy for a change lol
Nice build vid, tend to straighten pins same way 😀
Cheers mate .. it makes a stronger connection :)
We used to copy game cartridges on tape , and then load them into a ram cartridge ,,,, with dip switches on the uppermost address lines ....
Awsome stuff for back in the day ... loving the sd card option theaedays tho 😉
Nice cartridges! How did you get the game to fit into the cartridges rom, cuz I think you can’t have a cartilage directly map into the full memory map on the 64
Hi .. use the magic desk tool on github to create the bin file .. or in vice use cart convert that's built in ;) ... thanks for watching
just so you know, its commodore + run/stop to fastload.....
Thank you .. I was thinking it was like jiffydos ... 😉
Everything that happens happens as it should, and if you observe carefully, you will find this to be so.
A quiet house is nice until you are ordered to stay in it for months.
Nope, I've lived alone for 20 yrs ... staying at home is not an issue for me ..i loved lockdown lol
