It was nice to see this exploration of Hsinchu beyond the Hsinchu Science Park, and the livestream was fun at the zoo! The cherry blossoms looks pretty, and Big City shopping mall looks so modern and spacious. 🌸🛍 Thank you for sharing this relaxing stroll, AK! 🤗
The history of Hsinchu City began in 1733 when bamboo was planted as the city's foundation. Later, an earthen city was built to prevent pirate invasions. In 1826, the bamboo gentry, led by Zheng Yongxi, the first Jinshi scholar, petitioned to construct a stone and brick city. It was completed in 1829, marking the establishment of a fully developed city. During the late Meiji period, the city walls were gradually demolished, with only the east gate remaining after 1905. During the Japanese occupation, Hsinchu City was reorganized into Taipei County Hsinchu Branch Office and Hsinchu District Affairs Office, Hsinchu Street, Hsinchu County, Hsinchu Prefecture.
The ActionKid continues his trek of Taiwan in Hsinchu & enjoys the myriad of options available to the computer 🖥 workers with a park to relax 😌 & shopping conveniently located. It's an impressive city ! 🐼
