Brian is battling cancer, and is in the process of building his legacy/LegaSea Aquarium to house a variety of salt and freshwater fish varieties (including African Cichlids!). Over here from Brian's channel. This was such a great tour of the Reptarium! With Brian's content being so short and other tours I've seen being shorter as well, this was such an awesome watch! It felt so personal and in-depth. Less production, more just real conversations and interactions. I really hope you go back to see the Aquarium! I am so excited to see it open. Brian deserves that so much

Meeting those exotic animals as closely as you did is a unique experience. I had never seen that interaction in a zoo before, so I'd like the ones in my country to be like that. Brian's idea is so innovative. Thank you so so much for bringing us another great video. I know your channel will grow fast because of your passionate job. My best wishes to you and your channel🤘🙌!!!

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the “bass fishing productions” channel, but you’d probably find it cool. It’s netting all kinds of invasive aquarium fish in canals, ponds, ditches, and pretty much any water available in south Florida. Not about bass fishing.

Capys are like dogs. They are pack animals, but they will accept humans as their "pack". Blake knows what he's doing, and he would never let Brian take a single capy if it would be bad for the animal.

I'm just up the street from here. I hope the aquarium is a success. The building it's in is massive so I hope there are some really big tanks and scapes. We've only got a SeaLife chain (not a fan) and Belle Isle Aquarium (free!) here so any aquarium opening in the area is a great thing.

Hey Kaity, Steve Irwin's wife Terri gave me a private tour of the zoo early in the morning (about 7am) before it was open to the public in the early 90's. My brother in law ran the local piggery and was doing a delivery there with the baby piglets that they fed to the crocs, Steve opened the gates to let us in and my brother in law told him that it was my first time visiting Australia so Terri gave me my own tour around the place. I had never heard of this bloke and about a year later Steve's program was shown on British tv and my dad said to me "come and look at this bloke with the crocodiles" I couldn't believe it when I saw who it was and told my dad what had happened before on my first trip to oz haha!

I used to live about an hour away from Utica. If I still lived in Michigan, I would definitely go to the reptarium! As for geckos, we have at least 3 kinds in our yard. Well, two are actually anoles, green and brown. The green ones are lovely and peaceful. Unfortunately, the brown ones got to our yard, and I think their aggressiveness chased the green ones up the into the treetops. Also, I had some lovely fancy guppies in my waterlily tubs, and the brown ones could see the colorful tails on the males----now I just have plain, hard to see guppies left. They're more colorful than just basic guppies, but no orange or gold tails anymore. We have two kinds of geckos, the brownish night geckos and the beautiful Madagascan Gold Dust Gecko. A couple of them live in my bedroom. Just love them!
