I really like the overall look of this figure. It is not be perfect for sure, but it has a somewhat classic style.

Hey Anthony, not sure if your's is defective or you just need to mess with the articulation more, but my Iron-Man's head is able to look straight up, even for flight poses. You might just have to push the head back on the balljoint as you push the head upwards in order to get more movement.

I'm pretty fond of this guy, specifically the glossy red of the plastic, closest I've seen an Iron Man Legends figure manage to capture the comic/movie character's shiny red metallic vibe.
3:14 that is accurate to the comics tho the suit can take shape of anything and any weapons so it makes sense
Say what you want, this is my fav marvel legends iron man fig. Mainly because the Invincible Iron Man is one of my favorite comic series of all time. I dont really care about everything else

I am one of those people who believe this is the best Ironman figure we have gotten from hasbro, it's not perfect by any means but compared to the rest this guy is at the very top for me. But I am curious, which Ironman figure in your opinion is better than this figure if this is not the best?

I agree it's my favorite as well and as close as I think they get to matching the comic look for 20 bucks. I read the first arc on the story line back in 2015 and thought this would be a nice figure.
I don't think he is the best Iron Man figure out there. The Ares wave Iron Man is definitely better than this guy. I picked this guy up to complete my All-New, All-Different Avengers display. He looks really good up on the shelf with the new Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, Jane Foster, Kid Nova, and the 3-Pack Vision and Sam Wilson Cap.
I agree it's my favorite Iron Man and it matches the design of Invincible Iron Man #1 both in design and proportions. But when you compare it to the box art I understand the criticism, I chose to look at my comics for his one.

I think the figure looks honestly amazing. Though i really don’t agree with your opinion that it looks too cartoony. It does look cartoony, but its meant to be like that. This is meant to be a comic to figure translation. Also the weird shape and lack of buff-ness is also accurate to the comics. Its meant to be form-fitting not padded out and buff. That is literally what tony starks physiques in the comics looked like towards the end of his life, which is what this suit is based on. So yeah i think its an awesome figure
If you look at comics with this suit the proportions look fine to me, except the tony head being too big. Also my figure can look almost straight up without halving the joint so I don’t know what happened with your figure but it think this figure is great.

Dang man people get heated about these reviews. If you like it buy it, the man is just sharing information and opinions. Appreciate the effort and liked the review, and I even bought one (even though it’s not your favorite).

I'm just waiting for Hasbro to use this sculpt for an "Iron Doom" figure; just give him some extra sculpting, maybe an extra Victor von Doom head, a silver-and-green color scheme, and a black cloak. Anyone else agree?
Yeah the chest is too narrow again. It's like Hasbro is really into narrow chests. But it's a proportion issue, so of course most people are ok with it (see: love for Hyperion mold).

I agree. This figure's proportions is way off. I immediately saw it when I first saw this figure in pictures and thought maybe they would change the final product. Nope, looks even worse. It's definitely not the best and then the whole animated look it has overall just kills it. There are some things that hasbro does right with these figures but tend to botch up more than good. The best compliment I can give it is that it seems to have one of the best paint jobs I've seen on an Iron man.

The cartoony look is ok in my opinion because well comics look cartoony (not all but most of the one this suit is in has a cartoony look) and the portions are a little weird but that’s also actor the comics (from some books) so I don’t think it is THAT bad still a few problems though
I'm totally with you, the lack of "hero shape" is a big problem
I mean… its accurate tho. This suit is meant to be like form fitting. And trust me comics tony aint that buff anymore.

I honestly enjoy this figure, I've noticed proportions problems the moment I got it, but look it up a bit better, it is almost perfect comic replica. You may have some gripes, but you can only blame comics for that
i have looked it up. it never looks like this figure. it never has feet bigger than the thighs and "pecs plates" narrower than the abdomen.

I wasn't listening too hard but do his shoulder joints squeak when you move them? That was something mine did and it was kinda funny.
I do quite love this figure. It helps that i love the design, too. I gotta say the proportions are waaay off though.

Edit: *I knew the proportions were off, and I noticed the calves are about as thick as the thighs. The thighs are too narrow especially if it's a suit of armor*
Prince Darwin No, this armor doess not come out of his skin. It's an actual armor he has to put on.
Prince Darwin if it's skin tight then his thighs are way too narrow. Your calves and your thighs will never be the same width
I saw this figure in the clearance section at walmart already, marked down to 8.00$ I was tempted at that price but didnt grab it cause it looks to wimpy

I wish they redo Classic Iron Man Armor. Old figure from the two-pack is too small and thin. And Toy Biz version is pure garbage.

If you don't like this design, doesn't mean that the figure is bad or "average". I had all the figures of Iron Man from Toy Biz, old Hasbro and "Modern" Hasbro. Сompared to the rest, THIS figure is "king of the hill". And i'm not talking about Hulkbuster armors or similar. You like an Iron Man from The Ares wave ? Guess everyone has their own strangenesses. I like Heroic Age Iron man figure, but this doesn't mean that the figure is good by today's (or any) standards. They are all outdated, small and disproportionate to the rest of Marvel Legends characters.
Though they include a Tony stark head , this is the suit riri Williams wears. So it seems that the proportions are intended more for a woman maybe.
J Boogie Nope, this is Tony's suit. Riri's suit is more sleek, has a different helmet design and has a golden abdomen.

The Blade Runner The armor in the comics itself is actually the strongest and most advanced he's ever had.
It’s a shape shifting suit so strength is not really a problem...
I wish they redo the bleeding edge armor.. I was about to buy this but after watching this.. I think twice if its really worth it or not.. But overall good review and thanks for illuminating me anthony..
Wasn't this armor worn by a little girl? I didn't know Tony actually used it. If the figure were the girl, maybe the shoulder proportions would make sense?

This is Tony's armor from the ANAD Invincible Iron Man reboot. Ironheart's armor looks slightly different.
He's wearing armor over his body.
There is a lot of complaining about toys whose starting range are 4 years old.
M Beltran I think whereas they are good for smaller kids too they're a gateway to collecting other figures. Like the toybiz figures were for people my age.

It's spot on to the civil war 2 art, even the unmasked head looks exactly like the panel where Tony is taking the stand in court against Hawkeye.

Seems like an alright figure but not a fan of the design. Really wish Hasbro would remake the Extremis armour but with a new sculpt and much larger the original.

The reason the chest is so small is because it has a small butterfly joint when you move the arm

AnthonysCustoms Actually the arms can swing across horizontally towards his chest. Not a butterfly joint but the holes in the shoulder allows the movement.

For me is one of the worst figures of Iron Man, the proportion of the body is weird...
