Haha it’s more efficient! 🤙🏽 in general, aku doesn’t stay good as long as ahi, but the best thing to do would be to double wrap the fillets in paper towel and seal in a gallon ziploc bag. Changing the paper towel after a day is always recommended also, usually stays fine for 2-3 days.
Do metal bowls have any reaction to the delicate flavor of the fish .? I was told by an Asian woman to only use glass bowls to prepare . She mentioned some sort of reaction or imparting metallic or galvanic flavor .. can garlic and avocado be added or would that not be traditional poke ?? Thanks great job small kine !
In my experience, no, but I try to make sure to use high quality food wear. I'm sure cheap metal bowls may not be too great, but a lot of people in Hawaii prep poke in the same kind of bowls. Avocado and garlic are great additives in poke! The recipe shown in the video was more of a traditional spicy poke, but there's plenty of other ingredients that are great for poke. Can't go wrong adding whatever ingredients you like best and experimenting with the taste 🤙🏽
Haha yup, was actually a lot harder with that knife than it would’ve been with a smaller knife. As mentioned in the vid, I normally would use a smaller one but misplaced it… hence the not as clean cuts
Just made it for the first time with the one I caught this morning, turned out great! Thanks brotha!

Eating tuna while pregnant will absolutely not hurt the baby in any way…
Just cut, no need history lessons
Just watch, no need comment
Kenny is the type of kunt who tells people to “shut up and dribble”.💩💩🫶🏻
You don’t need a big ass knife to cut fish 🤣 nice try tho
