I first read John McPhee's "Rising from the Plains", got hooked. Then "Life on Muskrat Creek" and "Lady's Choice". Saw the PBS "The West Series". It is an Honor to see this interview. A very wise and noble man. He contributed so much of his knowledge to many other fields of study. As an student of archaeology many years ago, his contributions were amazing. Great interview.
