I love cs6 for fixing a lot of little annoying things in previous versions. Auto-Save and the ability to save workspaces are my favourite options.
Wow this is the most honest preview of a product I've seen. They don't hide what they don't have and really let the users know pros and cons of new features.
I have been using Photoshop for a year now, and I can very proudly say it is one of the COOLEST programs out there for anyone in the media industry!! :)
this is one of the best tutorials i have ever seen. it convinced me to buy the software, and explained everything perfectly, while holding my interest for the full 12 minutes. truly great marketing by adobe.
love how organized this video is and how fast it is what they have put in a 12 minute video some take a entire hour

This is a very useful and well done tutorial/introduction. There is a TON of content here and I'll watch it over and stop it to test out these tips. I would only like to add that it would perhaps be a little easier to digest all of this fast-moving content if the music wasn't so frenetic and in competition with the speaker's voice. I'm not complaining...simply pointing something out... Thanks!

I'm using CS6 myself for a bit while, yes it's beta but i haven't got any issues yet so it worths giving it a try. Also it's free trail till beta state expires!
Totally going to upgrade to CS6! It's definitely the best out there and my videos will be more defined and more professional looking! :D Awesome!

It is great tutorial and clear explination, When i used CS6 i surprised how fast it and really surprised that it save in the background.

Photoshop doesn't crash if you have a good computer and keep it clean. Even when it does it is rarely the application that is at fault.
Is there a way to remove the grey background when no project is open, and on the sides of pictures? Maybe just turn it into windows like I had on Cs5 so I can click and drag from my desktop and not have to move the whole window?

even if u hav gt 540m? U must chek if its not a rename version of gt 240m. nvidia love to do this.
Check also if u have the correct open CL version in ur graphic card.

Hello, pstutorialsws. plss help me! i need an answer.. Why aint my mini bridge showing at the bottom right next to timeline? :(
it won't let me use 3d textediting....altho OpenCL is allowed and my graphics card should be supported..(gt 540m) i have updated my drivers and yet..that "3D" icon doesn't appear as it should. neither have i "Extrude to 3D" option at Type...
maybe im doing something wrong? help me!

ok.... i recently got photoshop cs6... now what i really need is a great course or something, cause i only know the basics of it!! :(
I understand what you are saying but you will not be able to full out buy photoshop7 , looks like if you want to use it it has to be downloaded from Adobe after paying the subscription ( renting ). You will only be able to upgrade from adobe if you have the subscription, so photoshop 7 wont allow raw files from new cameras that come on the market until youre logged on to prove you are paying.
Can running scripts get round that ?

5:50 this feature already exists in CS5 but without the dark info box
whenever i select anything , i don't see what i am selecting because the screen turns to the background color , and after that , the screen comes again but with a selection that i didn't want

Where is the "artistic" button on the filter option? they have it in cs5 but they dont have it in CS6? look @ 07:00 there is no "artistic" option.
ctrl+j is also available at cs5 extended,,:P

I got cs6 for free from of my school, but I'm very close minded. I am used to using cs5. ahhhh im like a bitter old man, hell bent on listening to music on old records players.
