After this chapter, I have no idea where Wano is going, and I'm actually really happy to see that. It's going to be interesting how Oda tackles this arc versus how we think he should.

Pound was one of my favorite characters in Totland because he proves through his actions that human connection and family is more powerful as a motivation than the fear big mom uses to control Totland. Pound is pathetic but he keeps going with his goals while big mom dehumanizing everybody as tools has left her unable to ever reach her goals because nothing means anything to her, it's all just a flight of fancy to her. Pound reached his goal and was so happy to just have that, while big mom will lead herself to destruction and despair because she will never be happy never be satisfied and i think that's pretty neat.

that doesn't need to be a biological connection. many non related characters call each other that, like the entire franky family calls him that, carrot calls chopper that and it also occurs in other anime, generally aneki can refer to any older individual who is not old enough to be a father figure. it's kinda how you can say bro to your bros who are not your brother, only with a bit more respect.
On the whole Yamato and female aspect, it could be like a reverse of Kiku, where they are biologically female but Kaido raised them as a male. Idk just my two cents

The official phrase doesn't goes well with what we're seeing. It's a reserved looking Sanji in front of a brothel. Saying "I won't abandon the prostitutes" which imply something fishy is going on there. Maybe more reason for him to fight? and King is a sadistic pervert... you connecting the dot right? They both like women, They both wear black, They both can fly, They both use fire. I think Marco might clash with King first so it kinda make Sanji vs. King plausible and I think Oda is smart about this stuff, anyway we will see the outcome of this.
The translation I read (and I think a lot of other people have too) had Sanji saying "Gonna save the prostitutes" or something. I don't know, I much prefer this fan translation instead of the official, because Sanji sounds like he's actually gonna do something rather than just perve. Damn censorship.
The West always is hypocritical about censorship, especially when it comes to anime. However, I don't view this instance as much of a big deal considering the context is unavoidable what he meant. Also it just might be linguistically awkward, not many people say the word "prostitute" without negative connotation. Sanji's chivalry is his prime goal here. Saji saying, "I'm gonna find the hookers." may be hilarious, but it detracts from his intention.
To be fair, it does have a more deucey sound to it. "I will not abandon these women." Vs. "I will not abandon these whores." Sure one has great meme potential but the other sounds more respectful. Especially given how Sanji usually regards women.

Also that character like this one was initially thought to be an enemy and ended up being an ally. Now, assuming this is the case, this wouldn’t be the first time that the topic of rape is brought up in One Piece as it is heavily implied that Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold were raped while they were enslaved (I can’t recall if this same implication was given in regards to Koala or any male characters) however, it would be the first instance of this very dark subject being explicitly stated. While I do think that it’s important to teach children about the dangers of the world and to not grow up to be scum, I don’t know if Oda would go as far as to reveal Yamato to be the product of rape because somebody would have to just say it outright at that point and I’m not too sure about how Shonen Jump would feel about that

Well it's still hard to see an invisible person.
You'll need to use a different sense to find their position.
But if a character gets attacked from behind they can't see their attacker but still sense them and dodge

Ham Solo I only put that together with Tekking bringing up the thing about the mask being worn by females and knowing how Oda is with his genderbending characters, I figured it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to have both Kiku (biologically male but lives like a female) and have Yamato be the inverse.

The official phrase doesn't goes well with what we're seeing. It's a reserved looking Sanji in front of a brothel. Saying "I won't abandon the prostitutes" which imply something fishy is going on there. Maybe more reason for him to fight? and King is a sadistic pervert... you connecting the dot right? They both like women, They both wear black, They both can fly, They both use fire. I think Marco might clash with King first so it kinda make Sanji vs. King plausible and I think Oda is smart about this stuff, anyway we will see the outcome of this.
The translation I read (and I think a lot of other people have too) had Sanji saying "Gonna save the prostitutes" or something. I don't know, I much prefer this fan translation instead of the official, because Sanji sounds like he's actually gonna do something rather than just perve. Damn censorship.

The West always is hypocritical about censorship, especially when it comes to anime. However, I don't view this instance as much of a big deal considering the context is unavoidable what he meant. Also it just might be linguistically awkward, not many people say the word "prostitute" without negative connotation. Sanji's chivalry is his prime goal here. Saji saying, "I'm gonna find the hookers." may be hilarious, but it detracts from his intention.
To be fair, it does have a more deucey sound to it.

Sure one has great meme potential but the other sounds more respectful. Especially given how Sanji usually regards women.

That would be very dark considering the fact that, from everything we know about Toki, the only way she would ever become pregnant with Kaido’s child is if he... forced himself on her... Now, assuming this is the case, this wouldn’t be the first time that the topic of rape is brought up in One Piece as it is heavily implied that Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold were raped while they were enslaved (I can’t recall if this same implication was given in regards to Koala or any male characters) however, it would be the first instance of this very dark subject being explicitly stated. While I do think that it’s important to teach children about the dangers of the world and to not grow up to be scum, I don’t know if Oda would go as far as to reveal Yamato to be the product of rape because somebody would have to just say it outright at that point and I’m not too sure about how Shonen Jump would feel about that

After others pointed out that Kaidou's son became a samurai like Oden, and Oden's son become a dragon like Kaido, I had a thought, what if the artificial dragon fruit Momo ate doesn't come from Kaido as many theoriesed, but rather from Yamato.
To be exact my theory is that, if Kaido ate the dragon dragon fruit (which could not be true) and Yamato was born afrerwards his DNA might have been altered in some way, not enough for him to have special powers or anything, but enough for Vegapunk to do his lineage factor experiment.
In my head canon Peros went alone because he knew the rest of the crew would try to stop him if he tried to start some shit with Kaido's crew.. But really he just went alone because Oda wants to see Carrot kicking his ass xD

We've never really seen Perospero in combat, so it's easy to assume that he doesn't fight much. I think that Pedro could've defeated him.
