A bit more on our process:
All of our pieces are made from salvaged wood. We collect from tree trimmers, tress downed in storms etc. We won't cut down a good tree to just to make a decor piece!
We finish our items with only natural oils. Our current standard is food grade walnut oil. We choose to excludes plastics, resins epoxies and other high gloss finished from the shop. In additional to feeling that these items are not the greatest for your health, we like the look and feel of natural oils. They preserve and display the true color and quality of the wood.
