Jackie, our Salty Queen, I say this with all the love in the world, but I begin to wonder if all your time doing resin crafting is where some of your health problems arose. I don't mean to be a "debbie downer" but when I saw you warning others not to sniff the resin, and then you did so yourself, a bell went off in my mind. I know you've always been careful but I have seen reports about some of the possible health effects of exposure to resin and epoxy (resin is a form of epoxy, and I think that the polymer clay and liquid sculpy are as well). Please consider using more protective gear when working with resin and polymer clay. 🥺 🙏

This is for sure a mystery set where I wouldn't mind doubles, if you get a double of like a lemon tart and a drink you can make your own custom items with the duplicate ingredients!

If anyone's wondering, the paper circle is called a doily, and sometimes they are put under plates that have cake and other small canapés on them to look fancier.
Hey Jackie there's another mini craft kit that you've probably had a hundred other people tell you about. It's called Real Littles Micro Craft Series! They're super cute! They come in little caboodles with different, simple crafts like make your own glitter globe and a mini terrarium. I would love, love, loooove to see your reaction to them. Glad to see you back btw!
In Canada, the Real Littles miniatures are still not avalaible for now in stores, only the mini brand and the mini verse.

I discovered this about a month ago, and I was so close to leaving a comment here recommending them because they seem to be made with you in mind. If there's a product that should be collaborating/listening to you is this one. It seems to be all you've been asking from minis (openable or usable) + that added smidgen of craftinness. Also, getting doubles or triples in here is not as bad because you can keep each individual package unopened as miniatures of their own (like the bread bag or the avocado box) or even, perhaps, create your own personalized recipes

Sooo I just got back from the local target and after much searching of the many many surprise ball brands I finally found the cafe version of this item. They were only $6.99 so I might have gotten 5. I opened my first one up just to check it out on the ride home (hubby was driving not me) and was sooo excited and it’s so darn cute!!! Thank you for letting me know about these it has brought a smile to an otherwise tough few weeks!
I've been able to resist the urge to buy mystery boxes until now, but this might be my breaking point. These are like everything I could ask for, and a little more. I love how every little detail is thought of, and looks real but cuter. I assume they didn't say vitamin D, because that would be a false claim and someone would sue them for thinking it's real vitamins (as they do in the US). I hope these aren't available in Finland , because if they are, I'm in trouble. 😍💗
Ok, they are technically available but out os stock, and thankfully, the 17 eur price tag is helping me restrain myself. I can make my own mini foods from scratch.

I got ahold of a few from the diner series and I have to say:
1: 100% the resin containers are difficult to open. I used pillars on one and it just torn the little tab right off!
2: These are SO adorable, they melt my cynical little heart. I'm so glad to see you opening these because I can get the diner ones for days but haven't seen a lick of this set!
3: I can't believe these are being sold as 8+, there's pamphlets of resin dangers for days but I don't know what is in this resin to make them legally in the clear with marketing this towards children. Even so I sincerely hope they continue with this line. I want to see a lot more of these!
I have a feeling the reason they can argue 8+ is because of the quantity of resin. Even if a child were to consume it somehow it will at worst cause illness not death and the amount isn't enough to cause concern for ventilation. This is just a guess however, as long as death isn't a risk most things pass safety tests unfortunately.
I'm sure in there somewhere it says, "Adult Supervision Required". And this is probably safer than giving an Easy Bake Oven to a kid!
I feel like it should at least be 11+ I definitely wouldn't trust any child under 11 with resin even with parental supervision
Especially resin disguised as looking like *FOOD* items!!! Poison control might see an uptick in calls... 😱😱😱😬☠️☠️☠️
@Nerdy Curls Idk man, children are smaller, for one, so less quantity is needed. Two, the fact that the resin hardens makes it particularly problematic for any and all bodily systems- especially the throat! Poses a choking hazard and may also cause breathing difficulties which is a heightened concern for asthmatics (many children are, but they can grow out of it many times). If the child vomits, that would, again, be dangerous due to the aforementioned points. Oh, and then there's the fact that the ingredients in this product are completely unknown. So, they may be dodgy or downright poisonous (doesn't help that it's made in China...)! 😬😬😬
Best course of action would be to drink water (to clear the substance from the throat) and head to an urgent care or ER.
Adult me should not have access to adult money....i must COLLECT THEM ALL
Hey. Jackie. Quick suggestion. You COULD cure the resin that's still inside of the jar of spread, then leave the cap off next to the jar so that it looks like you JUST made the toasts, and then it would probably fit inside of the dome.

I love these! Recently did some with my daughters and they are so adorable! I used the UV flashlight provided in my Not Another Crap Kit to set it and it worked great! Just got 5 more for my daughters birthday yesterday.
I asked that above. Great to know we can use her UV torch. So excited to make these. Appreciate your post.

@@CianneDoodles The instructions on mine were to put it in the sun for three minutes, I used the UV torch instead and it turned out really well. Have fun with yours!

I'm so glad this was your return video for this channel. You are the first one I've seen do it correctly. Myfroggystuff decided not to use the resin. And Grav3yardgirl didn't read the instructions until after she had made one. And it didn't seem like she knew she could use a UV light to cure them.

@nerdecrafter I recommend the two channels I suggested. Grav3yardgirl may have posted hers on a second channel called bananapeppers if you don't see it on her main channel. Myfroggystuff used mod podge instead and it still turned out cute. But I was excited to see you do it with the actual resin.

This is too funny, I just watched another UA-camr open these yesterday and I was like blah. But watching Jackie open them instantly made me want to buy them. I did one of these recently and I love the whole aesthetic! I had a milkshake and with the staw, I couldn't put the lid on, so I took the center stand of the table out and just added the table top to the yellow and cut off some straw. Lol

I'm honestly surprised they don't skimp out on the ingredients leaves for some extra to keep in packaging. They definitely could have did what most companies do and give little less then you actually need instead of extra

My only criticism for the product is that it’s sold in the form of a blind box! I would definitely buy if it weren’t. I’ve been keen on trying out resin as a medium but it seems pretty daunting 😂

I’m also french toast. But also love crepes and pancakes. Especially the rubbery mcdonalds pancakes. And in Vancouver there is a really good crepe place on Robson inside a Japanese shop called Konbiniya. It has “mochi mochi texture” and you can have sweet or savoury filling.
