I watched again I was holding down the lock button to unlock my BMW. And it never unlocked. I was using it wrong.
I was using the key to unlock my door. Thank you very much for explaining how to use the key fob.

Have a 2014 X1 and cannot find a guide on how to save my seat & mirror settings to my key, and a second driver to save her settings to her key. You touch on this at around 7:30 but no details. Can you help?
Hi . I have been trying to adjust the alarm flasher on rear vision mirror . Atm it flashes every 3 seconds instead of just normal operation , i guess it stops car from sleeping . Any ideas . ?

Hey mate, are all the optional features (comfort seats, iDrive Pro, heated steering wheel etc) on yours from factory or are any retrofit? Just curious to retrofit factory options. I would love to retrofit the halogens with factory xenons but always get put off as it seems like such a big job.

When i hold unlock button my bmw e90 rols only rear windows why is that? And how to fix it

When I hold down my key fob unlock button, only the back windows roll down..how do I fix this so all the windows roll down?
You can also disable the alarm with the key fob. Just press the lock button one more time after locking.

Nice video been looking through your videos on a bugging ticking noise ive got. But can't seem to find 1. Its not timing chain. If you have any info on what could be. Sounds worse ticking on the back injector. Cheers

cracking video mate some good info,, iv had my 58 plate x5 for a yr now so swopped the keys as u said to give the other one a charge,, and by theclooks of it the key is set to previous owners settings,, sterring, seat, heaters etc,, you wouldnt happen to haveca vid on how to re-programme the key for what id like would u,, cheers in advance 👍

Did you try the trick I mentioned before about starting the car and then stopping the engine and removing the key and restarting it without the key in the dash?

I found out this last winter. It's nice to be able to have the car running and lock it on the really cold days when I just want to pop in to the store real quick.
You forgot one! At least on my F31, if the engine is running, and you press the lock button, it will honk the horn twice!

HI mate , my e90 key is not working where it should be , I can start the car but I can not use other function like remote lock and unlock , can this be fixed if I duplicate the key by help of BMW key duplicate party , as u mentioned in this Video battery will never die [as it rechargeable ]but from my key fob no signal is broadcast . i checked it with the help of transmitter. even I did replace the correct battery but no luck .

@@GeorgeAusters yeah, i pressed and held the unlock button and all windows/sun roof came down, however when i did the same with the lock button they didn’t go back up. i had to manually do it
Do you live in North America? If so then it has been coded that way from factory for safety reasons (to stop you from trapping someone’s arm in the way) and it needs to be coded.

You keep saying e65 all the time, but yours bmw is e60 model. E65 is 7series 2001-2008.
