But if almost all of the top teams were doing it they couldn't ban everyone or they wouldn't have an esports scene anymore. That's when they'd have to do something about it. Of course that will never happen, and I would never expect any of the pros to do that and risk their own accounts, but it would be amazing.

ddosing only works once a goal is scored so what u have to do is only score at 00:00 to win and keep the ball in ur possession before that so that they dont score or you dont score until the very end where they cant get a comeback with lag. (they do the ddosing in the replays)

The DDOSers are in every rank too. This happens to me constantly and im in Plat. I also got a 59 minute BAN from tournaments the next time I tried queuing up for one because the game, for some reason, counted the DDOS crash as an abandon. The game is so messed up right now

And if anyone remembers Jarvis, they also cared a lot. However in RL, they must simply not care enough or the same system that made fortnite cheater-free doesn't work on the game since it has a different nature.
You have to avoid the ball going into whatever net. They can ONLY ddos the server after goals. Basically you have to ballchase and don't let them touch the ball whenever possible. Eventually they'll figure out that you know this and they will even try to owngoal in order to be able to ddos. You just have to avoid that. ANY goal is bad for you, no matter who scores and on what net. So just go in the lead, hope they keep playing and then stall the game.
If it's literal DDOS (flooding the server with requests/packets from a botnet) then Psyonix can't do much to punish people automatically. All they can do is try to improve DDOS detection/mitigation techniques which is a hard problem that companies are always dealing with. Sure, people admitting to it or being blatant can get banned but that still requires manual review and doesn't really "solve" ddos.
but also after having the game flooded for months with them, there has been nothing said about these issues, theres been nothing but complaints from everyone and they cant give us as little as an acknowledgment that it IS an issue and MIGHT be being worked on, instead we get left with a brick wall and a shit ass game to TRY and play LMAO

How to deal with DDOSers: Don't let anyone score a single goal and go to OT with 0-0. They need a goal break to ddos the server, at least they used to. In OT you just score and win the game because they had no chance to mess with the server.
Supposedly you can survive a DDoS by holding the game at 0 goals until 0:00 and scoring before it goes to OT They need to score a goal for the DDoS to work (heard this a few places but haven't had a chance to test it myself)
It works based on the last one in the game, which means the Ddoser remains still as you see so they can kick everyone else from the game, so it is as if you rage quite and they get the win by FF
Hey Mertzy! i dont comment much but i just want to say that from watching a Lethamyr video, They ran into Ddossers and they said the way to beat Ddossers is to hold them to 0 goals until the last second, they way they explained Ddossing worked is they cand activate the Ddos until a goal is scored and the kickoffs reset, so you have to score as close to 0seconds as possible, going into overtime will also count and they will be able to activate the Ddos, i hope this reaches you and helps in the future if you are able to identify Ddossers
If you don't score during regulation time and wait until 0 seconds to score they don't have a chance to DDoS you! Don't let it go into overtime. Leth has a video on DDoSers explaining it.
This is gonna sound weird, but ddsers actually scare me. The fact you can cook a game this badly with no punishment just really hits different and harder than i expected. It's a subtle yet firm reminder of what hackers are capable of. Maybe it's becuase it's not as important than your personal info but it still is relevant and often to not only me and other members of the community and is being pushed under the rug by Epic.

when they ddos, if he never gets kicked the game gives them the win because you technically leave the match and abandon it.. thats why they win. the game thinks you ff
if you want the ddossers to get dealt with, we need the whole community to stop playing until it gets fixed when they see concurrent players at 10% their expected value, they will do something, its basically like a strike

like my friend and i got ddosd at gold, GOLD!!, exact same thing happend they pulled the plug and we got the troubleshoot the problem message. Both of us 600 plus ping and they had no problems. It would not be a personal issue cause we dont live totgether so no problem there it was insane
