    WOW, Mark, your playing is flawlessly precise....the late Frank Arsenault, and Harold Prentice, among others, would be very proud....thanks for keeping this style of rudimental drumming alive!.....Sincerely, Gary Gordon, Okla City....

    I guess I'm confused ... Three Camps, as it is, also basically alternates hands (RLR/RLR/RLRLRLR, etc.) & the paradiddle version I play uses the exact same accented hand pattern - no change. You can also use the same method with flam drags, using the same pattern.

    the only problem with paradiddles is it alternates hands,but thats not a problem. I'm trying to play it with flam drags.

    By chance would you know the story behind Tree Camps? I am having my percussion ensemble perform this and I wanted to tell the origin of this piece.
