Thanks for watching!
WOW, Mark, your playing is flawlessly precise....the late Frank Arsenault, and Harold Prentice, among others, would be very proud....thanks for keeping this style of rudimental drumming alive!.....Sincerely, Gary Gordon, Okla City....
In my humble opinion, the most important rudiment is the Long Roll. Many thanks, teak!
Mark Beecher
Thanks for the nice compliments, Gary! BTW ... great to have you on-board as a current member of NARD!
Blessings,
Mark Beecher
i hav to play this at the end the year in my percussion class
Many thanks!
Yes ... I've actually written a few myself - one variation with paradiddles.
Take care.

I guess I'm confused ... Three Camps, as it is, also basically alternates hands (RLR/RLR/RLRLRLR, etc.) & the paradiddle version I play uses the exact same accented hand pattern - no change. You can also use the same method with flam drags, using the same pattern.
Thanks!

This is the real thing!!! really nice, i love it :P
the only problem with paradiddles is it alternates hands, but thats not a problem. I'm trying to play it with flam drags.
By chance would you know the story behind Tree Camps? I am having my percussion ensemble perform this and I wanted to tell the origin of this piece.
