As pupils head back to school, this special report looks at non-accredited private schools. They don't recieve public funding and they don't have to follow the official curriculum. The number of children attending these schools has increased dramatically over the last decade. The report looks at two such facilities with very different profiles.

I like it. I feel like it has a lot of potential. But it feels like this type of school is still in the very early stages of its development. I believe that this will become a very effective school system in the near future as human progress increases at an unprecedented pace. Soon these kinds of schools will hopefully make it into the mainstream.

I hate so much about this. It's not a bad idea to have flexibility, but children generally need structure and discipline. Who actually expects children to get actual work done if they have the constant and addictive temptation of videogames. Not everything in life is fun. That comment about seeing children not as students, but as people is so dumb I cannot even begin to describe it. This could only work with the right kind of student and parents.
