Dr Light *used* to be an OP villain who fought the Justice League. I'm not going into specifics, but he did something bad enough a bunch of heroes magically neutered his brain and made him the idiot who gets smacked around by the Teen Titans.
Yeah, Dr. Light deserves everything he got.

Not only was he a horrible man, but his actions lead to Batman becoming more paranoid and creating a security state AI that almost killed everyone.
Jinx and Kid Flash is a pretty good ship and as someone who loves redemption arcs Jinx switching sides makes me happy. Kid Flash is a menace and it's great
Oh, and about childs putting everything they find in their mouths, I've actually been studying about that recently! Apparently it's a way for them to explore their surroundings, they try to use all their senses to understand stuff, so they'll see it, touch it, shake it to see if it makes a sound, and then put it in their mouths to see if it has any taste. So basically they'll see something like a strawberry, explore it, and the next time they see one they'll be like "oh I know this thing, it tastes good! I'll eat it!"
Ok yeah I was just thinking it was a sensory thing like checking if something is good to eat or not. Or just teething in some cases, glad to know there's more to it.
Children put things in their mouths because they want to taste them has got to be a contender for the Ignobel Prize.

Speedsters are so damn cool when done right. Like, there's this one time a version of Flash gets shot in the back and because he knows he can't do anything he just runs back home to tell his family that he loves them and then runs back to the past to warn people that he's gonna die

I’ve only really watched 1 Jurassic movie, but is that franchise supposed to be emotionally devastating? I thought it was supposed to just be like an action-horror focusing on Dinosaurs in present day.

But really it's more the irony that a kid's movie from the 80's has deeper emotional highs and lows than a AAA blockbuster. And I say that as someone who does love Jurassic Park.
Well the original Flash doesn’t want to fight, he tries to understand the villains to try and help them, so Kid Flash prolly picked up that habit and saw that Jinx prolly had some good in her.
There's an episode of Justice Unleague unlimited where the Flash, Batman and Orion are trying to get information from a criminal. Batman and Orion both go to threatening to get it. Flash sits down talks to him by name, comments how he's not on his meds and asks him to turn himself in but as an incentive he'll stop by and play Darts with him. Then when they get the info just leaves trusting him to turn himself in and the criminal toasts him and say's "You got me again Flash."

Young Justice is a great series to follow up after Teen Titans, but if you guys are also looking to scratch the itch of cool vampire fights and powers left by Hellsing Abridged, Castlevania is a great series.

Ok honestly this is my favorite set of episodes during this season. Especially with the one with the kids cause now a days I understand the perspective of people who would watch over me whenever I pulled a temper tantrum 😅
I love how even as a teenager, The Flash is so powerful that it was easier to make him the antagonist than it was to write an episode where he has to overcome something.

@@alykat2385 I never saw this version as Bart, because he's voiced by the same VA who was Wally on JLU. "Teen Titans" isn't a DCAU show and their civilian identities aren't given for a reason. Most Kid Flashes become The Flash at some point.
In the comics, Red Star used to be called Starfire but changed his name after meeting and hearing of Starfire on the Titans. He was a member for a while there too :)
Dr. Light is a MUCH more menacing person in the comics. Dr. Light's actions at one point caused Batman to become so paranoid he accidentally created an evil AI big brother just to safeguard against another incident like that, Tony Stark 'Ultron' style.
Cheetah, WW's enemy, doesn't want that guy in the Legion of Doom due to the fact that, well, let's just say he's probably a fan of The Cosby Show.
To be fair it wasn’t Doctor Light that made Batman that paranoid it was the response to his actions

To specify the relationship status of The Brain and Mallah, in one DC continuity they are in a gay relationship. I don’t know if they are in other universes, but in the show My Adventures with Superman, they appear in that show but are not evil and are in a relationship.

Dr Light redoing his plan actually made sense since he fixed the reason it failed the first time. The previous crystal shattered but now he has a crystal girl who wont.
When I realized Bobby 🐻 was real it was the plate of food when raven stands up if you notice the plate is empty.

I had no clue my most beloved episodes were all back to back, that Raven episode with the kids is one of my all time favourite Teen titans episodes, don’t ask me for any specific reason, I just really loved it as a kid and I still do. This kid flash and the flash from the Justice league cartoon are why The Flash (just all flashes in general) is my favourite superhero 😁. Then I got even more when Young Justice came out, I was so happy. Yes Kid Flash is separate but affiliated with the Flash like Robin is to Batman. Also yes Boom, the Flash can vibrate through solid objects, it’s one of the things they do that really tickles me. Just like KF in this episode, there was one in Young Justice where they were like “ Ohh nooo, it looks like you got me, …” *vibrates out of handcuffs* ‘Buh bye!’ 😂 I really hope you guys get around to watching it one day.
As for the Red Star episode, I remember it making me sad as a kid because he was a nice guy, lonely and isolated and it was nice to see Starfire bonding with and helping someone and then he just fckin dies. Looking back at it now, I wonder if he was Captain Atom (Edit: Nope he’s not, they’re different people). As for the Dr. Light ep, I enjoyed meeting our new friends, I remember really liking them as a kid.

Oh, you're talking about Monsieur Mallah and the Brain. Yeah, they're gay. When the Brain had a body he experienced on animals to raise their intelligence, and Mallah was one of his subjects. Yadda yadda explosion happens, Mallah saves Brain's brain and puts him in a jar. When they become loves changes depends on the telling, but yeah.
It's funny how they keep relating things to Ben 10, when Ben 10 came out the thing that drew me to it was how much it reminded me of Teen Titans.
Dr light was able to blind the flash for a couple hours leaving him useless.

Teen Titans really just dropped a whole new character, vastly expanded on a new one, established a really cute ship, created a love triangle at the last minute, gave the endgame ship a little betrayal/us against the world arc in the course of 5 minutes, and dipped. What an icon.

If I remember right, the Trouble in Tokyo dvd comes with the final unaired Teen Titan episode. It was basically an unused filler episode.
As has been commented on, Leonid Kovar used to be called Starfire. In the comics, his return story is significantly more powerful and tragic - as in "fucking hell, that's dark!"
38:20 your thing about changing names is super true though, like at a certain point Beast Boy grew out of the name and started calling himself The Changeling. Kid Flash (Wally West) also does grow up to be The Flash, but thats on account of Barry Allen dying, if you ever watch the Justice League cartoons, he's The Flash in those

tbh I've always figured the reason why the Titans don't use their flight powers in some situations is cause they're caught off guard and can't focus. We know that Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy each need to concentrate on something to use their flight powers, so if they're taken by surprise or are emotionally compromised it would be harder for them to catch their own falls.
That part where you guys discussed parenthood was pretty funny. It’s cool to experience these shows with different understanding and perspective.

This might be my Favorite Lineup so far, especially with the last two.
Speaking of which, this is part of the reason why Jinx is one of my favorites in this Show(as well as why she is my favorite Jinx in DC), as well as the Rugrats Titans,
I really wish we could’ve gotten more from them, in a Season 6 and/or 7 maybe and not just in the Comics.

DC Speedsters are CRACKED. I cannot emphasize enough just how OP they are. And this has only gotten more pronounced over time.
Some shows nerf them hard, but going by comics... they are soooooooo OP.

I really liked seeing the episode how Jinx had more of a character development even though i never understood the whole point about Kid Flash being so into her and able to convert her just like that, Especially when Jinx didn't need to ne forced to quit the villains as she could've just made a different villain faction or maybe turn into somekind of a Anti-Hero.
And also in that episode this Is where i really hated Madame Rouge, I get she's a villain and suppose to be treated like a villain, But she was an idiot for what she did to Jinx, Instead of taking the chance to turn Flash over by telling her fellow Brotherhood of evil members, Or just possibly gave Jinx like a slight chance, She just wasted her time slapping her and taunting her to treat her like a Joke.
I think it’s cuz the Hive 5 aren’t really villains. The only one who was a threat was Jinx, but even then the boys themselves just had fun and one of them was fine just paying for things. I feel like they could just grow out of it, whereas Jinx did have her own goals she also got disillusioned due to Madame Rouge. I can’t remember if they actually had another ep or she changes offscreen but right now she isn’t a hero. She just wants out of the Hive 5 since while they’re her friends, her goals just don’t align with theirs.
Madame Rouge’s big issue is she’s got an ego. So her ego got the better of her.
@@ma.2089 You're right, But i have to admit Kyd Wykkid had quite the potential to be the secondary threat considering he can create portals in a way to pass through things, Especially when he's silent, Never talks, And just teleports or at least dashes to keep up with Kid Flash's speed. And as for Jinx, She could've taken a different route even if her goal didn't align with theirs, I mean sometimes among a group there's always only one member that would eventually leave for a highier calling, Idk who i can compare with but it's those times where you can clearly see that this character is special and unique.
And yeah, Quite a ridiculous oversized ego for the mistress villain. I mean the whole point was to capture Kid Flash and yet waste her time taunting about how real villains Do. Normally I could see any villain would have taken an opportunity to turn Kid Flash over to the Brotherhood of Evil while judging what they would do with Jinx after. I mean if it was Slade (Which i know he did worked with her once and has no affiliation to the Brotherhood of evil), He would waste no time and just get straight to the point to execute his plans slowly.
Ok, in this verse Jinx has actually insane powers related to bad luck. So Kid flash fall in the water because of bad luck. Also it seems because of her bad luck Kinx became a villain in this verse. Soo yeah she met Kid Flash who probably for fun decided to play with her in game of making bad girl into good one. And somehow it worked. So yeah, actually romance line

Believe it or not that's Flash's philosophy for every villain, you have to watch Justice League Unlimited "Flash Substance." Most DC heros care about their rouges however in Flash's case he goes the extra mile to try and help his rouges become better people.
In the comics the Brain and Malah are in fact in a relationship. Also the gorilla isn't a super intelligent gorilla from Gorilla City, he was a normal dude who got his brain put in a gorilla body. Comics be wild yo.

Oh just saw a documentary on this one. The first black hole was discovered by sound cx They had no idea what on earth that sound was from, was written off as just one of the randomness associated with just technology until years later. Not gonna lie, it doesn't sound like anything special. A lot of matter going at superfast speed equals a lot of sound that can be heard light years away. I am curious about the Northern Lights though. I didn't know they made sound

Kid Flash was Wally West, he became the de facto Flash, but I believe it sometimes ends up as just a shared codename like with Hawkeye in Marvel. Some do use other codenames though, the second Kid Flash, Bart Allen, also went by 'Impulse'. But yeah they can vibrate through objects.
