In my experience, left-handed people tend to be better at partner dancing--especially left-handed leads, because the left-hand is responsible for communication in all the basic moves. Then when you get to more advanced moves that require passing to the other side, crossed-hands, etc. the left-handers adapt more quickly to the change than right-handers--for the same reason that a left-handed athlete can adapt against either hand of opponent. The aptitude toward spatial awareness helps too.
I have been left handed my whole life, and its pretty cool to know that there is a holiday for me and my fellow left-handed people. Its also interesting to know how left-handed peoples brains function different from right-handed people.

My great grandmother who was right handed had 9 children and all but 1 were left handed. My grandmother is left handed, my mother is left handed, and I am left handed. My son however is right handed 🤣🤷🏻♀️❤️ so I guess my family makes up most of the left handed population.

I was not born a leftie, I became one after an injury but now I'm used to my left and I love being a southpaw!
I can attest to the creative part. Being left handed myself I've written several fictional books that are available on Amazon (under a pseudonym), I've done numerous drawings of friends and family (for my own personal desire) that I've been told are extraordinary, played the Clarinet in school and had my IQ tested (for work purposes) and was deemed to be above average. I don't claim to be a genius, but I can say I'm very creative and also like to work with my hands and have a very high mechanical skill.

I am a lefty. Can't say that much from your video applies to me. I am the youngest of 4 and the only Lefty. Parents are both right handers. My 3 kids are all right handers.
I believe the trauma I went through in kindergarten has had an effect on my life. My teacher was forcing me to write right handed. I would come home crying. So yeah, lots of early trauma until my mom put a stop to it but the damage was done, kind of hated school. Plus there was no left handed anything so I had to adapt to being a right hander with scissors, sports, and anything else. I can write with both hands but due to no one being able to teach sports to a lefty I am right handed in almost every sport when I played/tried it.

As a lefty I noticed that this video presents "hand dominance " as either being completely left handed or right handed , but most left handed people I've met weren't complete lefties. I'm left handed but I naturally swing a baseball bat right handedly for example.
Im a lefty too and also swing a bat right handed as thats the only way I was taught by coaches when little. I still have to have a left handed mitt because while I could adjust and catch a ball right handed Id still have to pull my mitt off throw it on the ground to be able to throw the ball to another team member.

I learned to shoot with a right-handed .22lr and I'll never buy a left handed bolt gun, feels wrong lmao When I joined the Army, I learned the M16 A2 without an issue, as a lefty. Only thing I've changed on that platform is now I use an ambi safety.
As for scissors, as a young child, I had a lefty pair. Now, as an adult, I use a pair of kitchen shears, cuz they work either way. I'll admit, it does look a bit weird seeing a pair of those in my office and another in the kitchen 🤪

I used to be left handed and was broken in kindergarten. I think the part of this video I most identified with was being creative! I wouldn't be surprised if being left handed is why I'm so creative!
My daughter is left handed..... I first noticed when she was a baby. I had a friend as a child that was forced to use her right hand and always felt that was wrong. So I decided to let nature take it's course and allowed her to carry on being left handed. I am glad I did but sometimes I feel a bit bad for her sometimes trying to navigate a right handed world.... However she copes really well and over the years she has learnt to use both hands and can almost write perfectly with both hands.

I write left but have always been more comfortable using RH when using scissors. As a kindergarten teacher in a disadvantaged area I purchased left handed scissors for my lefty students and let them keep them at the end of the year.

My biggest agony growing up was having to sit in those half desks in study hall. The desk part only extended to the right so i would have to twist my entire body to use it to write.

I am left handed and one of my grandmothers is too. My cousin and his mother are lefties. My friend and most of his brothers and sisters are lefties. I think it strongly connects to genetics.

After meeting people, I usually gravitate to other left-handers like me. Not knowing that they were left-handed in the beginning still boggles my mind. I even learned to slant to the right in my hand writing to fool my teachers
