Gamesir controllers are crazy. I’ve been using the g7 se which has Hall effect sticks and 1000hz and the difference to a standard xbox controller is insane. Might have to get this one as soon as it’s available for me
I got the gamesir ge7, I found that the zero stick drift at 0 deadzones was pretty cool. But I find the Xbox one controller much more comfortable due to the handgrips on the Xbox flare out where as the gamesir the handles are pretty much parallel to each other and requires me to bend my wrists inward
I use a pdp afterflow Xbox pro controller I love it it's plug in so it never dies long cord for sitting on the bed and it has a whole app to control the sticks vibration and the paddles in the back and more it only cost about 60$ or 40$ I'm pretty sure

So i wanted to just say, the G7 feels great for overwatch, ( on linear ) CoD or halo though,The micro adjusting is awful. Im 5 acceleration 10-10 sense. Just to be able to track properly. Theres no linear aim to the controller. If you look into the controller enough youll understand. I love the controller for the 1000hz. Yet i dislike is bc my aim on halo and cod was better on a 150hz. So if you like playing multiple FPS games competitively, kinda sucks. ... Which is disappointing bc if i had regular analog sticks instead of holiffect sticks. It would be the best ive ever used.

The stick response on this controller is undefeated, it uses traditional stick module styles, but nothing feels remotely as good. 0 inner and outer deadzone on the left stick as well with 0 drift. You should consider giving it a chance. I questioned it when it first held it, but after using it… nothing compares. (Used the wolverine controllers, Xbox elites [1&2]), nacons, gamesir, scuf, and many others)
not even “for xbox” I switched from a PS5 to PC and after getting comfortable with the layout this is by far the best controller I’ve had in my 20 years of life 😂. Note: If they ever release a controller w a playstation layout then i’ll switch immediately but even so it’s crazy good.
The GameSir G7 SE is no longer 1000hz if you did not change it before the update, GameSir made a statement saying that it was against the Xbox ToS and they were forced to remove it.
I've had issues with elite series 2 controller getting stick drift. First one 4 months second one 3 weeks. 3rd one OK so far. I'm getting this controller

I bought this for Xbox. Arrived yesterday and at the moment I can’t get the sticks to feel right at all. I play Battlefield 1 and as soon as I started I had stick drift so fiddled with deadzones. Might need some tips on stick setup. I found the aim felt weird and not accurate at all. What settings did you use????. For last night I had to go back to using my Victrix Gambit

I put it on raw mode and both sticks at zero for deazones on the Gamesir app. I’m looking for smooth, responsive and accurate. But controllable. I was under the impression that Hall effect sticks don’t get drift but I guess I am mistaken. Perhaps there is a sweet spot. The reason I have abandoned using an Elite 2 is because the sticks never feel right and like there is some sort of built in deadzone that makes very fine pin point aim quite difficult in BF1.

Also I set the triggers to hair mode and put them on a range for deadzone of 1-1 rather than 1-100. Also has the stick movement set to the circle rather than the sort of oblong looking shape. Oh my god what a difference. I’ve never seen such response, accuracy and rapid shooting in the game I play. People were dropping instantly lol
The polling rate argument for Xbox at least is flat out false, DLI on the Xbox console side hard caps all inputs to a maximum functional polling rate of 125Hz. ANY positive difference over the OEM controller, is simply an improvement in overall polling consistency. Microsoft just aren't as stringent at ensuring all their controllers hold 125Hz constantly. (more of a ballpark than hard rule) All controllers fluctuate but the higher the polling rate on the peripheral side is the less often it will fall below 125Hz cap, therefore improving measured averages and perceived responsiveness. NEVER have we actually experienced above 125Hz on Xbox with ANY controller or any other peripheral and unless Microsoft increases or removes the DLI polling cap limit we never will. All you need to do to see this is plug into a PC, load any game you also have on Xbox, Lock the framerate and set resolution to match the console version: Instantly even at only 250Hz the difference is NIGHT AND DAY, 500Hz and 1000Hz are INSANE. (I have tested this on 2 G7 SE's, and a gaming keyboard and mouse)

The G7 doesn't have Hall Effect sticks so it is out. The G7 SE and the Kaleid have Hall Effect sticks but with the G7 SE it only comes in white but you can buy swappable front plates for it but they are only specific designs. I recommend buying the new Xbox Kaleid or Kaleid Flux as they look way better than the G7 SE and come in two variants.
Hall Effect do not provide any anti stick drift feature, nor they make it “extremely difficult”. Hall Effect gamepads DO get stick drift, but as they can be recalibrated, that can be fixed. Recalibration is something that can be done in any controller, Hall effect of capacitive, so Hall effect do not provide any feature against stick drift. What Hall effect provide, and that is huge, is prevents stick module degradation due to wear on the capacitive disk.

if you turn on the gamesir first and THEN the second controller, the gamesir will be prioritized for input while the second controller will be audio + mic only

@@timyboy3456 I have both, Victrix doesn’t have Hall effect sticks and it’s only a 500hz pulling rate vs 1000 hz. Victrix does have the best and fastest trigger locks
Even though you cheat, I will say these the analogs are overhyped. They've actually coded the sticks to where the censors are rectangular patterns instead of circular, so having a smooth movement/Aim consistently is impossible.
over clocking a controller on pc is essentially over clocking the USB port on the pc not the actual controller, so it isn’t beneficial for console, stop spreading false info

How do you setup the sound if you can’t talk through it. Plug another controller in another slot and use same profile or something?
