2:38 I absolutely agree with the fact that ship scenes were unnecessarily done in VFX. I mean, ships could be rented out, as many, many, Hollywood and Bollywood movies have done. Many shipping companies offer their decommissioned/old ships out for rent, where you could shoot the actual deck scenes. 4:10 That is a very valid question. If you were wearing a hard Exosuit ADS, that is because the water pressures are too high to use a conventional "soft" (ambient pressure) diving suit, as the ADS is very expensive to use and fit out. In that case, suddenly ejecting out from a hard shell diving suit would lead to rapid compression (which dissolves nitrogen into the bloodstream), and then a very rapid decompression (the dissolved nitrogen forms bubbles in the bloodstream, which can damage joints or cause heart failure due to embolism). This is exactly why I felt that the Exosuit ADS was unnecessary, as a conventional "soft" diving suit would have done the job just as well. And before you go, "His tether must have cut off, and he needed to surface immediately", the exosuit ADS is equipped with a 5 - 6 hour backup air and battery supply, so he could surface, and then take off his suit. Also, if it was for holding up the rock of the Ram Setu, the ADS can be equipped with grappling assemblies to manipulate and pick up objects from the water. Also, the waters are shallow near the Ram Setu. It is covered with Coral, and reefs cannot grow deeper than 80 m. So, he could have marked the spot, and could have come back with professional divers later on, to collect samples. All I am saying is, the scene was dramatic (Akshay Kumar holding up conclusive proof of the Ram Setu and emerging from the waters), but from a scientist's or explorer's standpoint, it was unnecessary. 6:40 That is a very serious rule about not entering into territorial waters. It is one of the reasons why Sri Lanka and India's relations deteriorated once, when Sri Lanka arrested Indian fishermen who were fishing in Sri Lankan waters. Exactly for this reason, GPS is provided to explorers to prevent them moving astray. That is because, if the country really wanted to be aggressive, such explorers could be prosecuted for spying and even jailed/executed. It should not be taken lightly.

I agree with that. For the movie "magadheera", SS Rajamouli needed to film a horse race in the desert, so he went to the salt flats of the Rann of Kutch to film the racing done on actual horses. The actors had to learn horse riding to do the race themselves (obviously the footage was shot faster with dynamic camera angles to give the impression of a high speed race). The camera vans would have sunk in the salt flats, so they took an Omni, fitted wide tyres, removed the top structure and most of the seats, and fixed the camera jibs on it, to get the tracking shots. The Chariot that the actors had to catch in this race was also a real iron chariot built for the shoot, and a real technician was hiding underneath the frame to steer the horses. I have no expectations left from the nepowoods long time back. My only concern is that these bollywood baffoons are picking spoiling all the good topics from our ancient history & culture (purannas, Vedas, etc) only to mint money considering the trends without well deserved research. That makes the job of other sincere creators more challenging.
When you shoot in just 40 days, you won’t see any dept in the acting due lack of commitment, this type of project requires good amount of time and effort which you clearly can’t see
Akshay kumar should switch from Fixed fees per movie model to take fees from the amount movie earns. In this way he is giving more budget to create movie for VFX etc. and also he is entitled to do extra hard work per movie so that he can earn some moolah out of it. Right now he is literally doing a 9-5 job for salary.
It's not horrible but not good either. The drawback is lack of supporting characters, story turns into having a villain and henchman trying to kill askhay. Then poor characters like AP their mysterious tour guide from Lanka who rescues them and end of the movie he's revealed as lord hanuman type to help them. It's all over the place and yes the adventure part is good angle but it wasn't developed well and it was a one man show. The movie was trying to be like The Mummy franchise where history, adventure and action are explored but ram setu was just an akshay movie.
Tumbbad has great visuals because instead of relying completely on green screen they have used real locations and created sets for eg the well inside which hastar lived they have made it in real with so much effort and then used cgi to enhance it rather than using vfx completely.
The main problem with Akshay Kumar is he is struggling from his Perfection Syndrome. Whatever topic or story he will give maximum 40 days for that, and take 50 crores. So we cannot expect a good movie from him.

Apne Akshay Ke pahele movie Dekhe???? O Choro....Padman.....toilet ek prem Katha....kesari.....rakshabandhan......Air lift......????
Kaunsi nashe kar rakhe ho
@@bestmother6958 Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Air Lift good acting but in rest of the films other actors could done much better......say for example...if Irfan Khan or Pankaj Tripathi would have played main role in Padman then it would have been to next level.

Akshay kumar ignoring that people tired watching him every month
100% true review. Submarine wala scene non sense, helicopter scene bahut sare scene bakwassssss, logical ha hi nahi pure word's .. good concept bad execution
That suit I feel more inspired by Pacific Rim movie
Ram ram japna paraya dhan apna - Rajiv Bhatia canneda wala.
After watching whole video I can say and even my hope from this movie was only the execution of story.
And waha bhi in logon ne hug diya.
😭😭😭
He gives genuine review.
Ap wala climax I liked because the movie is about ram setu where movie says it existed so Ap climax was justified I feel. Plus satyadev acting is also not streched. He was the perfect peice in the imperfect puzzle
Thanks for this video.. 🙏💕
Dil ki baat boldi bhai
Ram sethu could have made in south .. instead of using "Gutka Canadian Kumar"

Akshay Kumar puts the same level of effort in his acting performance as Salman in his dance.
When you shoot in just 40 days, you won’t see any dept in the acting due lack of commitment, this type of project requires good amount of time and effort which you clearly can’t see
Rishab shetty ki trah kaam karna padta hai sirf hindutva se hi film nahi chalti.
Main to ye soch rahi hoon k jab ye log khud movie dekhte honge to kitna khoosh hote hongey ki waah kya picture bnayi hai 😂😂😂
Superstar era in Bollywood is gone...film makers should invest on film making then big star...just do audition and cast budget friendly good actor

I think Akshay ko boycott kerna jaruri ho gaya hai. 40 days me movie bananeka bhoot sawar hai yede per.
Tumbbad has great visuals because instead of relying completely on green screen they have used real locations and created sets for eg the well inside which hastar lived they have made it in real with so much effort and then used cgi to enhance it rather than using vfx completely.
Tumbbad was the worst movie i have ever seen in my life.
for others symbol of love is taj mahal
for me: it stands nowhere in front of Ram Setu
akshay era is long gone
The main problem with Akshay Kumar is he is struggling from his Perfection Syndrome.
Whatever topic or story he will give maximum 40 days for that, and take 50 crores.
So we cannot expect a good movie from him.
I thought this could’ve been a really good indianised version of Indiana Jones, but Poora hag diya 😢

Thank you for honest review, wrna toh bhagwan ram ka name sunte hi sentiment dikhane lgte bhle uss movie mein unke facts ko galat ho dikhya jae

This is what happens when you do a movie in 45 to 50 days without any research, or case study on the topic the movie is going to be all about!
I think Akshay Kumar just needs to take a break and work only for HouseFull and other comedy movies and forget this kind of heavy VFX movie.
Abe vfx ka role sirf 2 h jagaj p h bhashan Dene s phle film dekh le
@@shouryabharat6571 Abe chodu VFX secondary hai. Story hi itni jhantu aur inconsistent hai. Tu dekh aisa guu.

The way Akshay kumar destroyed Mission Mangal I had no expectations anyway.
I didn't watch that, so I can't say for sure. I prefer documentaries about such things (ISRO's mars mission, Pokhran thermonuclear tests, and so on), simply because they are more informative and less overdramatic.
Subha se dekhra tha reviews. Aap ka honest laga. Keep up. New subscriber 😁
Saw this movie in theater a couple of days back...rating 2.5/5....average acting, CGI was wishy-washy, story got confusing after a while....problem with this movie is its poor execution.

Bhai apart from vfx, the dubbing of the film was really bad as well. There were many scenes where lip sync wasn't done properly and in the climax court scene, the dubbing of akshay kumar's monologue was done so badly that it was clearly noticeable which lines were dubbed later!
Akshey Kumar is taking films not seriously if you see all the movies that have failed come from him
Akshay Kumar ku kuch farak nai padega as he is getting paid huge amount uska time hogaya as he is getting old so till then wao bas sab offers ku ha bolega😂aur kartejayga phir bollywood se quit 😂

They wants to prove that Ram Setu was built by Ram around 7000 years ago. But that's not true. According to Ramayana Ram was born around 1.8 million years ago.
7000 yrs may be questionable but it's definitely not 1.8 mil yrs.
@@LaggardInLove Why because as per science?? Then why should people worship a person if he's description is not as what mentioned in Ramayana
@@VY-zt3ph Yes per science, read how much the earth changes in 1.8 mils yrs. And I have not come across anywhere in Ramayana thats its 1.8 mil yrs ago. Could you please highlight the chapter and verses, will go back and read? I do wish to correct my knowledge if wrong.
@@LaggardInLove Ramayana takes place in Treta Yuga. Which ended 1.8 million years ago. Don't which Ramayana you have read
@@LaggardInLove take this - When the god of gods Vishnu, the supreme one among deities, one who is revered by all worlds is eulogised this way, then he spoke to all of those celestials that abide in the righteousness and that are in the assemblage, keeping the Forefather Brahma at their helm.Get rid off the fear, let safety be upon you, on eliminating that cruel and evil-minded Ravana who became dreadful to deities and sages, along with his sons, grandsons, friends, cousins and relatives, ministers and forces too in war for your welfare, I will then reside in human world ruling this earth for eleven thousand years." Thus Vishnu assured the gods.
~valmiki RAMAYANA Baal kanda sarga 15
So now tell me if he was born 7000 years ago how can he rule For 11000 years. In treta Yuga people used to live for thousands of years as per Hindu scriptures. Also the Rama Setu which this movie depicts is fake one. The real Rama Setu was 100 yojanas long. While Rama Setu is only 30 - 40km. You can calculate what yojana was in terms of km. So that I ndia srilanka Rama Setu is indeed a natural made structure.
I hope I have corrected you enough so you that next time if you go for arguing you have both correct scientific and mythological facts.
#ram ji save us
If you watch karthikey 2 for story and your ancient history....then watch ram Setu also it is good movie........shan bhai movie me kuch khamiya jarur hongi par.....ye . movie theatre me dekhi ja sakti ....
