Wow! They even filmed in an actual outdoor land instead of the entire thing being a CGI effect! That's one of the reasons people love this movie. Everything actually looks real!

In case anyone has not noticed, a lot of these clips are from when Colin Firth was playing Paddington. He was initially cast for the part but they switched to Ben Whishaw as they saw that he fit the role better.

it was CGI (Computer Generated Images) They did have people stand in as Paddington off-screen to help the actors.

I do not have anything using green screen but I think the Paddington filmmakers have made a great choice with shooting as much of real in-camera stuff as possible. It looks... well, real.
