also, second off, Oliver gets so disrespected by everyone including his own friends despite the sacrifices he makes and the efforts he makes to save his city and better himself until only his death

Okay, I'm normally against murder without a fair trial, but if your only weapon against a pissed off superhero is a pocket knife, you kind of deserve what's coming to you.

Making only annoyance at one despising her sexual loyalties a reason to end a life doesn't make her interesting, just dangerously petty. His stated main motive for attacking others was to force Dreamer to come face to face with him, and his stated main motive for that was that he felt she influenced a movement towards people physically native to a certain sex or other to hide their genetic history from others who were not trans, and ambush them with crossed lines that would scar them once better informed. He doesn't mention homosexuality nor say that simply being trans is wrong, but that those lying on profiles are violating the trust of cisgender mate searchers, and he sees Dreamer as encouraging this and needing to consider that such harmful lies are not befitting a hero.
Her anger goes way further than these limits of intent, as if whatever she treasures most deserves vengeance beyond anything else worth avenging. That's like a long haired man thinking that a beating of a long haired man should outweigh vengeance for a short haired man or that rude words from another ethnicity deserve death where someone of his own ethnicity should be pardoned. Lying about gender to a straight person and stealing a kiss from them is as awful as a stranger in the dark pretending to be a woman's husband, while using that rouse to touch her in a way that's really rape.

I only watch it if I ran out of things to do. my problem is that they're making perfect characters when in fact humans are anything but. someone else, someone real at least would've hurt him somehow even if they didnt kill him. that is far more believable to me and more consistent with human nature. but thats not a problem specific to this show.

I literally broke after watching this episode.
I like it when my "geek" shows do a subject that is topical or relevant to the issues at hand. This episode is no exception, I do not like the hate this show gets, if you don't like it, then don't watch it, and if you make a "cringe" video and haven't watched it, the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common: they don’t alter their views to fit the facts; they alter the facts to fit their views. Seems a lot of that is happening nowadays. Too much actually.
@Chuck Bartowski I'm not a big Trump fan, as he is not truthful. About a LOT of things. But I will not discuss that topic at moment, as to answer your main question, as Pewdiepie made that video without knowing a lot of context of the clips that he posted, which could give the wrong impression of what that scene was about. I've watched that show since the first episode aired on CBS, and after it moved to CW proper.
The show has its SJW moments *alot,* which stops the show from being better. Its called criticism. However, this epidode is pretty good, probably because the topic is relatable.
It wouldve been nice if Dreamer still went on about killing the bastard. He(dont even start on trying to say otherwise), had a good point which Supergirl didnt have an answer to & all the 100% paragon heroes never do when it comes to the no killing rule. They never answer why irredeemable people get to live.
It’s good when these shows handle relevant issues, true, but only in a good way. Supergirl hasn’t always handled these kinds of things with this much tact.

@@Walt_Xander94 I dont really understand that last point in reference to this particular episode. As opposed to many other villains, this guy is probably one of the most vanilla. He didnt kill anyone, and is just a normal human being who really doesn't post much of a threat when you consider all the superpowered beings and aliens in the show. He threatened Dreamer and beat up her friend. But how does being a bigot make you irredeemable or worthy of being killed? Maybe you can say this about Lex, or Ben Lockwood (I was actually really hoping someone would just kill him honestly), but this guy is no where near the level of atrocities those two men have committed.

It's not about killing in itself, it's how you could handle the fact to take a life. Obviously Nia isn't the kind of people that can kill without thinking she has become a monster. She's "too" good to do that and would be traumatized. It also depends on the kind of villain you have in front of you. If you have a pathethic jerk like that, the best punishment for him is to let him humiliated and imprisonned to show that he was wrong and that he's nothing. If you have someone like Mister Freeze, you can spare him because he's not an evil jerk. If you have the Joker....GO.FOR.THE.KILL.NOW.

@@unkindled4965 Killing can also be a headache. Villain or not, killing them is against the law. Green Arrow had the cops and feds on his ass for all his killings. Even if the person is a scumbag, killing them is still a major crime that puts a target on your back. That's the only reason Gotham PD tolerates Batman, because of his no kill rule, but Gordon has threatened to come down on him if he ever breaks it.

Yeah, I disagree with that. Now this guy was not a supervillain, so no, Nia should not have killed him. What irks me is when a hero is dealing with a supervillain that has broken out of Arkham Asylum or some other place umpteen times and killed/tortured hundreds of people. If the hero would just kill that villain already, they could stop a lot of terror and horror. But no...they must be noble and spare the villain's life, thus enabling the villain to go on their next killing/terroristic spree. For that reason, I hold that "hero" responsible for every life that villain ruins after that.
