The killer frost debut episode in season 3 was the best version of the character to ever exist in the show. The only time the writers allowed her to be with and use her powers in different ways, combined with Caits medical expertise...it was really everything! Too bad the only thing going forward she was allowed to do was throw ice cycles and cold blasts along with hand to hand combat. * special shout out to that fight sequence during that one crossover Frost clobbers some red shirts with her giant ice arm sword. ''Twas iconic!

@SilentStorms Caitlin was devastated by Frost death and together with Mark (Chillblaine) created a machine that Caitlin entered to try to bring Frost back, but it didn't turn out to be the same. We haven't seen her yet and we will in season 9
It was CONFIRMED by Danielle Panabaker & Eric Wallace, that whoever the new version of Frost gonna get out of that machine her name will not be "Frost" & DEFINITELY NOT "Killer Frost". They clearly said Frost death is PERMANENT and she is NOT returning.
