The killer frost debut episode in season 3 was the best version of the character to ever exist in the show. The only time the writers allowed her to be with and use her powers in different ways, combined with Caits medical expertise...it was really everything! Too bad the only thing going forward she was allowed to do was throw ice cycles and cold blasts along with hand to hand combat.
* special shout out to that fight sequence during that one crossover Frost clobbers some red shirts with her giant ice arm sword. ''Twas iconic!
Caitlin was my favorite female character back when I watched the series.
I love Frost she is one of my favorite Arrowverse characters I'm sad she died but I hope the new Frost or Killer Frost from season 9 is just as awesome 🥺😔🙏

@SilentStorms Caitlin was devastated by Frost death and together with Mark (Chillblaine) created a machine that Caitlin entered to try to bring Frost back, but it didn't turn out to be the same. We haven't seen her yet and we will in season 9

It was CONFIRMED by Danielle Panabaker & Eric Wallace, that whoever the new version of Frost gonna get out of that machine her name will not be "Frost" & DEFINITELY NOT "Killer Frost". They clearly said Frost death is PERMANENT and she is NOT returning.

The only person Frost as Killer Frost wanted to kill was Tracy Brand.
& 1st. She wanted do that only for Savitar's order who was Barry's time remnant.
2nd. Caitlin hadn't yet control over Frost. She was mostly unconscious during that time but at the finale she finally won her fight with her Cold persona.
& Maybe she stabbed Barry a few times but it was only to stop him from stopping her. She knew he's gonna be fine.

Started to be Killer Frost in e19 and wanting to ONLY Kill Tracy Brand through just one episode...then Caitlin getting back over control in the finale .... There was NOTHING about her wanting to kill Iris besides the fact she SAVED her life while Caitlin had her own problems about, wich she didn't wanted to bother the others and trying to solve them on her own because as she was always ready to help the others...she wouldn't dare to ask for the help for herself.
So these whole 90% of Killer Frost (some of them says "Caitlin") wanting to kill Iris are just theirs imagination taken out from theirs toxic asses out of over hate towards Danielle Panabaker.
