the question about statues: should it be used only on the main character (except for skills) or should it be scattered among others characters? for example, HP statues to give to a warriors etc?
Ideally, you should pick up the Golden Statues as it makes all of your statues account wide, and then it doesn't matter which character you use them on. If you haven't unlocked the Golden Statues yet, then I would focus your statues on the character that needs it the most, as you will eventually get golden statues.
It's best to use the Prayer for more skill efficiency as it also reduces the EXP gained on that character. I rarely mine on my squire now, as I mainly use him to get very high mining samples for the 3D printer. Use your daily minigame attempts on your Maestro. Lastly, actively mine on your Maestro, as you get more EXP per hour by actually being in game than being offline.
I've been having trouble with the same thing. What I am currently doing is having my crystal countdown build in the first preset for Maestro and Mining/Fishing build in the second. I actively grind crystal monsters with him until the percentage is as high as it goes, then active mining the rest. I am stuck mining gold at the moment since I can't get enough efficiency to hit 100 on plat, so I also have the Maestro Transfusion talent right up to the point where I get 100% for gold and no more. Getting about 47k exp per hour (afk, so way more active). I removed anything that would increase skill EXP gain for my Squires and further dampened it with Prayers while boosting Maestro skill EXP gain to make sure my maestro stays ahead. As long as you put 4-5 levels between maestro and the squires, and keep it there, they will pretty much never catch up until you are heavy into Void or can't slow the EXP down enough (this is where I am stuck!). Also, maybe try to get as big a printer sample as possible to minimize the actual mining you have to do.

@@MatuellaSlipknot maestro is a very very active class (if your want to really harness its skills). If played correctly, every other class can benefit from maestro being active... so it evens out. If you wanted it to be more of an afk guy, you could build him out for cards and drop rate, but I feel like the boosts to efficiency are worth it as active.

The Hearty Diggy Alchemy bubble gives mining efficiency per power of 10 Max HP. At level 50 the bubble give 16.67% efficiency, so with 1000 HP you're getting almost 50% more skill efficiency just from this bubble.
As you progress through the worlds you unlock a ton of bonuses to Skill EXP. Keep in mind that Skill EXP bonuses are additive and not multiplicative, so it stacks up very quickly. There are also pearls that you will collect to help level skills that are hard to level!
The Hearty Diggy Alchemy bubble gives mining efficiency per power of 10 Max HP. At level 50 the bubble give 16.67% efficiency, so with 1000 HP you're getting almost 50% more skill efficiency just from this bubble.
Mining level itself is only really needed to use better pickaxes, and you can use the 3D Printer to get most of your resources needed for crafting. This will allow you to focus on leveling your miners actual character level for more talent points before going back to mining, and the talent points/other bonuses throughout the game will give you more efficiency than focusing on leveling the mining level itself.
Mining power is one of the most important stats you can have.
