I'm glad to be back and will continue covering IdleOn in the future, starting with some World 6 guides and information coming as soon as my schedule permits. Due to the nature of my full time job, I am away from home for weeks if not months at a time and it prevents me from recording content as consistently as I would like. During this time, my partners at Nocturne Gaming continue working on our other projects such as Valheim and Sons of the Forest, as I am the only one who covers Idleon in our group.
I know that I am super duper late, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for making this video! I love your guides because you always explain what to do and more importantly why you're doing whatever it is you're doing. So you're actually teaching unlike some other UA-cam entities that I shall not name haha!
Wow, thought I had a good understanding of cranium cooking but learned a lot from this! The part about Chemical Warfare and Flatulent Fart was a surprise and I changed this out immediately - very much appreciate the detailed video, thank you kindly!
I still learn new things about IdleOn every day, and it's part of the fun for me! Let us know if you would like something else covered in a future guide. 😄😄
Today i started my Cranium Cooking adventure, it already looks insane. I've been playing for a few months but never did it, tomorrow i will be able to reach 200 tenteycle and people say that will make it even better. Can't one shot worms so im staying on Citrines for now
Congrats in advance for your huge alchemy gains soon, and Tenteyecle at 200 is a game changer for Cranium Cooking. Also Citrines are technically better than Wurms for Cranium Cooking, but most people use Wurms because it gives more EXP, Money, and Boss Keys. So make the switch when you can, but you aren't really loosing out killing Citrines for now.
4:57 I'll add something about this part. Yes, 200 points in Tenteyecle is the most comfortable way to have Bubo going brrr on that alchemy BUT you do not NEED to have it at this point to start Actively Bubo for Cranium Cooking. It is because the Flambeige Map (World 4 - 12) exist. I tested it out on My Bubo which is still a small bean : Cookin Roadkill Alchemy Bubble lv 133 (79% Cranium Cooking Duration, Progress Per Kill) Alchemy Box lv 400 (30 cranium cookin' time) Tenteyecle lv 175 (64% Chance for 2 seconds cd reduction) Cranium Cooking lv 170 (25s of progress & 95s duration) Raise Dead level 164 (642px Radius) Chocolate Chip Equipped Bubo will be less efficient on bigger map or maps with lower mobs density. But if you want to get used to active Bubo it is a great way to get started. With the Mob Density on Flambeige you can always reduce the CD of Raise Dead with a variance between 0cd & 4cd depending on your luck.
Thank you for bringing this up - I absolutely recommend Cranium Cooking periodically as soon as you can. Even at early levels without Tenteycle, the extra liquid generation and colored cauldron progress is a huge help getting alchemy started!
Firstly! Love this video! Maybe a dumb question - but how do I get such a high cap on the skills? I've got a 250 BC but I can only get up to 150 on most of my skills.
Thank you for your support! The next step for you is getting the Fury Relic from sailing, as each tier of the fury relic gives +25 to max talent book level. This guide is a bit outdated, but it covers the information from before Sailing - ua-cam.com/video/OdwCXWT8h1Q/v-deo.html
Why is the Teleport ability not used for this build? I'd think it'd make a good combo with the boxing gloves but I could be wrong. Love your videos btw
@@NocturneGamingOfficial Oh I figured that must be why. I didn't notice much of a problem with a lv 100 teleport but having booked it to 200 now, about half the time he ends up *further* away from an enemy 😅
Hey nocturne, how do you get your bubbles to such ridiculously high levels? I’ve been playing for over a year now and I still don’t know how you do it, I really appreciate the content you put out!
I'm guessing that comes with the high sample rates/atom collider, along with the "hourly clicking" he mentioned, which I believe is when you're producing enough resources to level up the bubble once an hour. Tldr high levels, high skills, high prints, etc. It will just take time, keep increasing those numbers! We all start at lv 1 :)
At what level would you say this build really starts being viable? I'm still pushing W4 right now (highest level ~120) but I'd like to swap from active SB to BS as soon as possible to take advantage of the higher mob spawn rate and alchemy advantages.
Love the videos man thank you! Quick question: when does it make sense to use the prayers that increase mob health? So far I’ve always kept them off because they would reduce my multikill. Should I only activate them if they don’t drop me down a tier or is there a balance of losing a tier or two but getting the positive buff?
Sigils are unlocked in the Laboratory, and leveling them up just takes a lot of time. The base rate is 1 Sigil EXP per hour per character slotted. There are now bonuses available to sigil speed in summoning, so it will be quite a bit faster with the World 6 bonuses.
Please tell me what can be done to make "bubo" work correctly. Now he does not use "revival" during auto combat when there are no enemies on the map. What's the point of using revive when the enemies themselves respawn?
It is mostly from Alchemy - The Smart Boi bubble gives talent points to all tabs on wizards and the Mage is Best bubble multiplies all small bubbles while on a mage class.
Why wouldn't you use chemical warfare? That just seems like a massive dps loss as less poison less damage? The idea of bubo is quick map kills and respawns? Yet your fastest dps and map coverage attack, you arent using?
Chemical Warfare is actually a DPS loss on bubonic because Flatulent spirit will place the poison clouds for you, and auspicious aura does more damage faster than poison clouds. So you want to be using raise dead and auspicious aura as much as possible instead of using global cooldowns on chemical warfare that has a random throw pattern. Also Flatulent spirit only places poison clouds on top of mobs that it can damage.
Wait, does doot not give all minor link bonuses? Also do you have a guide on what to buy in the w6 gem shop? I have a bit of crystal and I don’t want to buy the wrong thing
Doot does give the minor link bonuses, except for Purrmep. As for the World 6 gem shop, my priorities would be Shrrom Familiars and then Plot of Land. If you have excess after that, consider the Instagrow generators and then slowly work on Prismatic Charms. The time skips are not worth it unless you are whaling.
The main way to get talent points is by leveling up your character and each skill level also gives you talent points. In the late game, the easiest way to get more talent points is by leveling up the purple Smart Boi Bubble in Alchemy.
Can you explain some maps to use for those who havent reached super high end maps like this? ive not broken through to World 6 yet because i cant beat the boss and need to find ways to increase my dmg and thought the bubo would be good, but ive not been able to get any meaningful progress with alch so far, or is it not possible without the 3s decrease?
Really any map works for Cranium Cooking. Some are better than others such as Flombeigs and Tremor Wurms. Previous worlds just wont have the same results because of mob density. There is a huge difference in Cranium Cooking progress when you have the 3 second decrease from Tenteycle, mostly due to the mob respawn talent being reset more frequently.
I wish i was this far...i had some bug where i couldnt play my account and had the orayer where everything was set at 10hrs afk. I literally afkd for over a year and only my miner and fisher didnt have it. I wanted to bang my head on the wall
Не переживай ты так, это марафон и ты единственный участник. Я с сентября играю и недавно смог 5ый мир пройти условно. 6ой проблем доставляет, но это не беда. Наверстаю урон ещё.
You will reach this point, I have been playing a little over a year, and he's been playing for much longer. It may seem impossible. You will learn more things playing the game, and it will all add up when improving
Don't worry, I have been playing for years and still find things I am doing wrong. It is part of what I enjoy in the game, finding new ways to improve my account! 😄😄
ES and Bubo both have their specialties. ES is really good at material farming and getting other drops like Hampters. Bubo is better at money farming and leveling up alchemy bubbles and liquids with Cranium Cooking.
Cauldron statue does give more Alchemy EXP, but there is not an efficiency stat for Alchemy. This talent would be one of the last thing I would upgrade if there were spare points.

Wouldn't the Equinox chat ring be best in slot because it is 10% all stat?

Teleport in theory would be good, but the Auto skill usage is not optimized so you end up teleporting to bad locations instead.

As long as you can one-shot the mobs with your poison clouds with the prayer on, you should use it. Multikill should not be your focus on the Bubo.
@@NocturneGamingOfficial got it appreciate all the info! 👌🏽
Why do you say you can use CC every 12-13 minutes? The cooldown on it for me is 50,000 seconds which is way higher than that
12-13 minutes with the spawn skill, that reduce skill cooldown by a lot.
Max the spawn skill then you’ll thank him.

I can only recommend submitting a bug report in the official IdleOn discord - discord.com/invite/idleon
How did you get your cauldron levels so high in the first place?
It's all from the Equinox upgrade - I spent the last 2 months of World 5 exclusively Cranium Cooking on Bubo to work on alchemy and liquid cauldrons.
