Is it my crappy headphones or has his voice been disguised? The Falklands was quite a personal war to me and my and relatives as my cousin was on the Invincible! One of the more clued up members of the family made things more nerve-wracking when he explained that the Argies would try and take out a carrier because of the air superiority factor. It was a great day going down to Portsmouth a coach load of us to see her return safe and sound.Rest in peace all of those lads that didn't make it back.Excellent podcast many thanks,i was gripped.👍👍👍

So did we hit the invincible or not ? Cause our side says we hit it , but your side says the invincible came out without a scratch , so I don't know wich side is true

@@rodriguezfranco3839 My cousin never mentioned her being hit at all.He worked on the engines at the waterline so he said they just got on with it.I think Hermes was the preferred target.

Voice not disguised. Unfortunately it was a very poor internet connection. Thanks for listening and taking time to give us some positive feedback.
